It's possible, although 32 years of age for a CB on the downturn is a difficult thing to overcome. If he's intent upon automatically being the CB he was in years past, he's likely kidding himself. It would evidently take a dramatic turnaround in his commitment, first and foremost. It might happen, although I'd be reluctant to spend the millions it would take to find out.

I think he would be great from a mentorship/coaching standpoint but only for a small amount of dollas.

I doubt that it would be practical to have Revis taking up a roster spot if he wasn't contributing generously on the field. Since he was slated to be making around 6 million anyhow, it's tough to say what he might want from his next team. We have some youngsters that have outstanding upside as it is. I think it'd be hard to see one of them being turned away when he might otherwise become quite valuable for many years.

I give it a 0% chance that Revis is coming here unless he signs for nothing.

And look at what Revis has made in his career. Well over $100 million.

He ain't playing for cheap.
He also already has a ring, so its not like hes dying to win a championship either

Revis is on the down slide, go with the younger player.

Revis's QB rating was over a 100 when it use to be around 60...either Revis lost a couple of steps or he lost his desire being on the Jets...but he is not worth the money risk
and it would only keep our rookies from developing...watch our for Chido and Lewis and Woods they are all athletic and smart...Woods was not only an all american in football but also in academics...they will figure out Marinellis packages in TC and begin to excel..what i love about Marinelli is that he purposely simplifies strategies so the players can react instead of think...right here and right now..i am giving a Rico-guarentee that our backfield will be top 10 NFL...we got a healthier Scandrick another year under the belt for number 30 who in the last month of last season was one of the top rated cb's in the league..and we got Jones settling down a 2nd year at one position...and dont close the door on White...yeah he has a slow 40 and needs more muscle but he aint no dummy and he knows his back is against the wall...and Heath..ohh man Heath...now i dont think he needs a lot more playing time...but he should have more...just so he does not burn out and get hurt do to slighter frame..but Heath has grown leaps and bounds since 2013 when he got smoked a few games....bottom line the writing was on the wall for Claiborne and the others..they were not going to get much better and we need much better

Heard On NFL Network Only Hours Ago: "Despite Dez Bryant's attempts to recruit Darrelle Revis, the Cowboys are declining to act upon it. They are satisfied with the rookies that they acquired in the draft and are displaying no inclination to acquire him at this time."

My immediate reaction to said news: Whew . . . let's celebrate!

Bring him in and let him and Carroll fight for a spot. Pick the one that sucks the least.

I think a fat and out of shape Revis who stunk last year would still be better than Carroll.
