Honestly, even if he doesn't practice, if I was the coach I would have him suit up anyways.
Give Coughlin something to think about.

Maybe don't start him, but insert him and use him on simple, non-cutting routes, like a Go and use him at least as a decoy for a few plays here and there.
Just to screw with the DC.

In looking at the video of Dez practicing he looks like he's jogging at best while catching balls.

I think the articles header is misleading because there was nothing full speed about that workout.

Not sure he can properly run a go route at this point. At least not one where a DC would respect him after seeing him run the route for the first time during the game.

How is he 2 months ahead of schedule? 6-12 weeks is a timeframe and doesn't mean it's worst case scenario. They always maintained that it was closer to 6 weeks. They are right on with that prediction

I'm just going based on other athletes who have had similar injuries like Kevin Durant and Julio Jones. Here's a quote from Julio:

“I’m not a doctor. I don’t know how he’s going to bounce back from it,” he said. “For me, speaking for myself, I was probably on bed rest with no weight-bearing for probably two months. That’s before I was even able to go out and run or anything.”

These guys have been playing football their entire life. I heard the same thing about Hardy coming back. No way Hardy can have an impact he needs to prepare and etc........Hardy played the first game and had a huge impact. Ro did the same thing.

Point is we, including you, know not a damn thing more then the guys getting paid to do it. If they say he is ready to go then why the bickering.

Your right. Everyone is different. And while Hardy was great.....he wore down in that 2nd half and it had nothing to do with his skill. Just the layoff. He probably would've been even more dominate without season off from football.

Call me skeptical as this is such wonderful news it is almost too good to be true. Not many can recover from this surgery in this time frame so I am tempered in my belief. This is the similar to Adrian Peterson's after his ACL surgery within a year's timeframe. You have to know the defenses might be scheming on that foot if and when he plays. I am sure some accidental foot stomping could be in store(can you blame them as he is unstoppable when healthy).

Or maybe. Just maybe it had to do with being on the field. Constantly because our offense couldn't sustain a drive to save its life

I think they're screwing with Mara. No love there. And I love it.

Beckham has a hamstring issue (again). Cruz is out. It's all good.

His chemistry will be that he's open. Or that he's double teamed and somebody else is open as a result.

Dez is like Irvin in that he is always open or at least he thinks he is.

Or he could have been more dominate in the second half if the offense could have picked up a first down

Considering that the offense crossed their OWN 30 yard line only once until about 9 minutes of third quarter, the defense put in a stellar first half. They actually ended up facing fewer snaps than the offense ran, which is an indictment of just how wretched the offense performed that day. Under Romo, it is very rare that they lose when the offensive snaps outnumber the defensive snaps.
