Clarence is always the buzzkill

Honestly, even if he doesn't practice, if I was the coach I would have him suit up anyways.
Give Coughlin something to think about.

Maybe don't start him, but insert him and use him on simple, non-cutting routes, like a Go and use him at least as a decoy for a few plays here and there.
Just to screw with the DC.

Oh, go ahead and tell us !!!!

Let's just say shots would be fired from both sides of the border.
Right across each other's bows. Running their cannons up smartly to get the good shot.
And no matter what sanctions are involved: this won't end peaceably.

I would pay to watch it...

That's great, but don't want him in a real game if he is still not fully healed !!! Just not worth the risk.

He wouldn't even be allowed to cut if that bone wasn't completely healed (either it is or it isn't, not like a hammy), it's a matter of pain tolerance, mental hurdles and cardio

I think this is more encouraging for Dez to come back in upcoming weeks. Which is great news in itself. I think they are pushing it with the Giants game. He's already nearly 2 months ahead of schedule. I'd prefer to bring him back slowly.

How is he 2 months ahead of schedule? 6-12 weeks is a timeframe and doesn't mean it's worst case scenario. They always maintained that it was closer to 6 weeks. They are right on with that prediction

Prince Amukamara will be out of the game Sunday which would leave DRC covering TWill most of the time which is a wash. Someone needs to step up and make a play for sure.

These guys have been playing football their entire life. I heard the same thing about Hardy coming back. No way Hardy can have an impact he needs to prepare and etc........Hardy played the first game and had a huge impact. Ro did the same thing.

Point is we, including you, know not a damn thing more then the guys getting paid to do it. If they say he is ready to go then why the bickering.

From a medical standpoint nobody can argue with the staff. Like I said earlier.

I'm not just saying don't put him out there. I'm from the opinion that they really are not going to put him out there because the timing to prepare Dez and get him into game shape is so small the odds are very slim to actually get him out there. It's more of a media smokescreen on the teams behalf.

Hardy and Ro had been conditioned and training with the teams weeks before their first season game. It is not even close to the same thing that Dez is transitioning through at this point.

They had weeks of preparation and they do not have to be on the same page with a QB. Their job is to create turnovers where Dez and Cassel's can give up the turnovers. Dez is running routes. Different communication overall. But back to the main part. Having the reasonable amount of time to prepare and be game day conditioned so you can perform at what would be a winning level. If they can get Dez there by Sunday then trot him out. I just don't think it's that easy.

Now if we had 1 more win I don't even think we would be having this discussion. He would be on the shelf 1 more week regardless.

No bickering. Interesting word used by the way. Below is a link explaining the approach coming from Dez's coach. You know the individual who makes the decision if he plays or not?
