He has done nothing since getting paid and hes unclutch.

I dont want to hear bs about the routes he runs, because hes had great seasons before (2013). With a rookie QB, you want your supposed elite WR to help him out more than Dez did today...
He's was also playing on one foot last year. Which is the only year he's played since getting paid. So. Yeah. Ok.

So his one foot causes him to drop passes too right? How many Tds did dez drop last year alone? The GB and Tampa game come to mind, and the TB one was with the game on the line

Put all 4 of those guys in this offense and see how pathetic they look.

This can not be emphasized more than it is. This coaching staff might the worst in the league. Romo masked all the weaknesses. Hence their record without him. Dez is constantly lined up in the same position and runs the same few routes to the same part of the field. Easy to gameplan that. And you take that away, this staff can not counter. I think Dez has his flaws like any player and has an issue bringing down passes but like Romo, we don't utilize him enough.

I'm sick and tired of this staff.

Yea always an excuse, yet I see other teams #1s making spectacular plays week after week. Hell, look at Sterling Sheppards td catch. Much harder than Dez'.
Lol. I wish I was on a computer and could post the video of the push for you.

No wide receiver in this league would have caught the ball in Tampa Bay. I can guarantee you 3 of them would have got the flag in their favour though.

Bryant is one of my favorite players, actually him, Witten and Romo are my three favorite. I even have his jersey. So I'm a fan of Bryant but he has not played well in a long time. The disappearancing act is almost copperfield material. He hasn't played well after his big contract. Last year was due to injuries but he's healthy now. Today the dez we saw was the dez from last year and he's healthy. That's discouraging. I also want to bring in the point that DallasDomination said. Why doesn't Dez run any motion, or slants, or crossing patterns? I've been frustrated with that his whole career. Is he not smart enough to run a different route or is the coaches not smart enough to use him better?

Like I said in another thread, do you know how easy we make it on other teams to gameplan against us when you know that Bryant only runs a go route. Keep him from running a go route and you have contained him because either he can't adjust to get himself open or the coaches can't adjust to get him open.

Or maybe he is not that good. You look at the numbers Terrel Owens put up with Romo as his quarterback. Then when he went to Cincy and buffalo he didn't do anything. I wonder if Romo makes Bryant a much better player. Romo makes Beasely, Williams, and Witten better. Maybe Dez needs elite QB play to be elite. But he's not elite anymore and that's frustrating.

I don't know, but with Bryant not playing well our receiving corps doesn't scare anyone.

I said in a thread a few weeks back that I think the reason we snap the ball at almost :01 every time and Romo is always yelling kill kill kill is because he needs all the time he can get to offset the ***-hattery of the coaching staff.

He's an overhyped bum. Never comes through in the clutch. He's had one good season.

He is a nice player when things fall into place but I will agree vastly over rated by the fan base.

Our offense doesn't do anything to get Dez involved. Look at the routes he's running. They are go routes and crap like that. I think we have one of the dumbest coaching Staff in the nfl.

Julio Jones isn't that fast either. But look how they line him up and what routes he runs. Crossing,posts,slants..motion.

Julio lines up all over the field to create mismatches. Dez is in the same place every play. Never goes in motion. Rarely see any stack receiver sets, no quick screens or slants. Nothing... Only time we see this is when Romo is out there, changing stuff up.

Dez in not in the top 10. We need to draft a WR in the first or second round next year.

I'm not bashing Dez but I have a question.

How do teams get their wrs the ball more often? Is it because they are good route runners and dez is a bad one?

I'm not referring just today's game, just in general.

It seems to me players like demairus Thomas, Antonio brown, Emmanuel sanders, Fitzgerald beckam Jr., aj green, Julio jones etc always seem to get the ball thrown to them. Antonio brown is a beast, I've seen him have multiple 10+ rec a game

I think that's more an indictment on our uncreative offensive coordinator. Dez can't go out there and freelance like they're playing in the backyard.

Dez, when he is on, is the top redzone WR in the NFL.

He has never been top 5 between the 20's. He's a big body type with average speed and just isn't able to make himself open consistently enough.

Having said that, he was still top 10 between the 20's from 2012-2014.

Now, I'm not so sure. Hoping to see him have a big game next week.

Don't think that's the case

Truthfully: I think Romo's season with L. Robinson was better than any season with Bryant. And I know Dez put up big numbers in 2014.
