throwing 4 int's wasn't going to happen again no matter what he did. that's just a regression to the mean.
Yeah, that was simply a product of a dominating running game and playing from a lead. That means the Qb doesn't have to make many risky throws.

Last season, the entire team was dropping balls. Witten, Beasley, Williams, and Dez. It was just a horrible offense.

The Cowboys got DRILLED last year in 4 games. Just pummeled. Not even competitive. Denver, Atlanta, Philly, and LA Chargers.

They had 4 games they didn't even score a touchdown.

The had 4 games they couldn't even manage 10 points.

Good offensive teams have one game like that, if that.

This offense was supposed to be one of, if not the, best in the NFL.

The offense was bad, I will agree. The entire offense wasn't dropping balls though and that is what we are talking about. Dez had 6, Butler had 3, TWill had 2, Witten, Williams, Beasley, Zeke, and Noah Brown each had 1.

Here is a number of dropped balls since Dez has been on team. First number is team total and then Dez in parenthesis.

2010 - 25 drops (Dez 2)
2011 - 26 drops (Dez 2)
2012 - 33 drops (Dez 9)
2013 - 25 drops (Dez 6)
2014 - 10 drops (Dez 5)
2015 - 19 drops (Dez 5)
2016 - 8 drops (Dez 1)
2017 - 15 drops (Dez 6)

I'm not going to blame Dak for the drops unless you can show me where these dropped passes started when Dak took over and somehow became a QB issue.

I agree Dez had drops.

But Witten and Beasley had a bunch, too, by their standards. Drops aren't really in the histories of any of them except Terrance Williams.

But they haven't. Let me update their numbers:

2010 - 25 drops (Dez 2) (Witten 3)
2011 - 26 drops (Dez 2) (Witten 3)
2012 - 33 drops (Dez 9) (Witten 6)
2013 - 25 drops (Dez 6) (Witten 3) (Williams 3)
2014 - 10 drops (Dez 5) (Witten 2) (Williams 1)
2015 - 19 drops (Dez 5) (Witten 0) (Williams 4)
2016 - 8 drops (Dez 1) (Witten 1) (Williams 0)
2017 - 15 drops (Dez 6) (Witten 1) (Williams 2)

I believe you may be referring to catch rate, which in that case has been lower for Dez.
