Watching the kid play is so much fun. He looks like Irvin in #88 as he plays with the same energy and passion as Irvin did. You can tell he thinks he can beat his man every time and wants the ball in the game winning situations. This is more than talent....it is heart!

I'm so happy that we got this kid on our team.

Thanks for starting this thread. I was thinking the same thing while watching the game. He is relentless. He had two possible scores yesterday. Even though they didn't count, you could see what he brings. And I love the way he doesn't back down from the trash talkers on other teams. The guy is hungry. I can't wait until he scores his first offensive TD.

I like how Dez is already clicking on all cylinders with Romo like's he's been here for years.

I remember that pass he got on third down and he was a yard or two behind the first down marker. There were two defenders right there with their hands on him, and I thought "damn, we ain't getting this one". The he proceeds to juke and jive and gets the first. He should only get better too!

Yeah, not only that, but he's also playing smart and under control.

He actually calmed down another teammate who was getting a little out of control emotionally.

He is going to energize everyone around him. He will be a leader on this team in no time IMO

dez-3 games 14 catches 158 yards plus a punt return for a TD.

demaryius thomas-2 games 10 catches 140 yards 1 td.

this is going to be an interesting battle to watch.i think its going to be a neck and neck till the end.

Thats about as close as they'll ever be.

Dez is much more of a natural receiver than Thomas. Thomas has a great physical skill set, but he's limited in what he can do. Dez is the total package, I literally don't see a flaw in his game. And for a guy that big he has incredible wiggle and lateral moves in the open field.

It took guys like Austin four years to develop into the player that Dez is already showing flashes of being. No knock on Austin, he's a great athlete and has polished his game very well. But Dez has already shown flashes of that unique Randy Moss like ability to make plays, and he's got that fire that reminds us of another 88.

To be fair though, Thomas is a full time starter already since there's no Marshall. Dez isn't in all that often though he should be in every snap.
