Possible reasons for the mild league interest
For the $$$ he likely wants I'm not surprised the Cowboys aren't interested. Of course all this doesn't mean those executives are right. But it sure makes you raise questions about him. Where there is smoke.....When one was asked how much D-Hop’s got left, he said; “Not much. He can’t run anymore.”
With another AFC exec saying, “Still great hands, he is not going to separate, not much of a deep threat, but very strong, and makes contested catches as well as anyone in the NFL”
Another: “Does not love to practice—I can’t imagine that’ll get any better. And when things don’t go well, you’re always gonna be leery, All right, what kind of drama are we gonna get from this guy? When things are great, he’s great. When things go south, his true colors show a little bit.”
Possible reasons for the mild league interest
A terrible fit for him who’s their quarterback?Patriots seem like a good fit but they won’t give him the deal he wants. It’ll probably come down to a battle of one year offers and he’ll pick the team/location he likes the best.
I don’t think that was ever a question. D Hop would sign I would think a 2 or 3 year deal. Not long term.If signing DHop means that Dallas can't sign Parsons and Diggs, then why is this an interesting discussion?
Jones…Pats need a #1 receiverA terrible fit for him who’s their quarterback?
Pats? They have no chance in AFC even AFC east. Why wouldn't he go to KC or Bills.DHop may drop his asking price for the right, competitive team. ..
I can easily seeing him going to Pats with QB Mac Jones - plus Pats don't have an established lead WR
I'm not hearing the Browns rumor anymore with him re-joining Deshaun Watson
MPats? They have no chance in AFC even AFC east. Why wouldn't he go to KC or Bills.
