So far I'm been pretty sure I was going Witch Doctor, but I've seen some cool stuff from both the Demon Hunter and Wizard classes.

The funny thing is, I looked at the Monk early on and it looked like the most boring of the classes, but apparently it's been getting rave reviews for it's fun-factor.

The installer plays music while it does it's thing. The music is very similar to previous version of Diablo. There's a lot of keyboarding and mousing in Diablo. Things that are know to induce carpal tunnel syndrome when done for extended periods.

My main will be the Monk and then probably switch later to DH or WD once things settle down and I get bored of my Monk. :

I've never played Diablo, how would you describe the game. I've played WoW and C&C, and Civilization?

I would say its a RPG with heavy hack n slash elements thrown in. You make a character then go thru the quests/acts and level up and get diff skills while amassing massive amounts of loot.

There will be huge amounts of left/right mouse clicking in diablo 3 i can attest to this personally after playing the beta.
And for all you wireless mouse users have a extra set on batteries on hand.

In baldurs gate you control a character and other characters that join your party.
