Because he doesn't need to say anything. Especially when nobody even cares to talk to that bum.Huh? Why is that pathetic? Maybe he could be more diplomatic, but these guys are competitive.
I don't understand why anyone could take offense at that.
What an Eric Dickerson record might look like:
He followed it up by saying, "I hope you never do". I personally want to see Zeke break his single-season record one day, but I understand why Eric Dickerson wants to keep his records. He doesn't have any rings, so without those records he would have nothing. Here's the link to the video:

Dickerson is pathetic.
Dickerson's a loser. Did Jim Brown ever tell Emmitt he didn't want him to break his record? Nope. Only losers do that.
That Season record is going down eventually. Let the poor guy grasp what he has left another year of one that he can keep.

Walter broke Jim Brown's record. By the time Emmitt got around to passing Brown, he'd already been passed 6-7 times.Dickerson's a loser. Did Jim Brown ever tell Emmitt he didn't want him to break his record? Nope. Only losers do that.
Lol.. you guys are so sensitive
Even if I had won Super Bowl rings, I wouldn't want anyone to break my records, except if it were my son.At least he's honest.
If I was an ex-superstar who didn't win any rings but held a few major NFL records, I wouldn't want anyone breaking them either.
I don't think so. You only get one shot to break the Rookie record. You have several shots to win the rushing record.Yes. The guy is real deal team player....
.... with that said .... Zeke will probably break Eric Dickinson's 2,105.
That one will hurt Eric more than rookie one.

I don't know with the way the Cowboys play football Zeke will get Eric's record. Remember, Dickerson was the only offensive threat on his team.
I know you weren't talking about the Rookie record.Duh... wasn't taking about rookie record anymore lol
2,105 was in Dickerson second season.
You may be right... Garrett will trade enough running plays for pass plays ... thereby limiting his opportunities to get he record.
And/or we'll get enough runs called back due to penalties.
Of course Zeke could've broken it.The season is over. Zeke didn't break his record but should have...but he only played 15 games and even in the 15th game he had only 12 carries. He was only short 177 yards. You think Zeke couldn't amass 89 yards/game in those last 2? Of course he could have and Dickerson knows it. That's why he should shut his piece hole.
What record did Emmitt break of Jim Brown's?Dickerson's a loser. Did Jim Brown ever tell Emmitt he didn't want him to break his record? Nope. Only losers do that.
I've watched and listened to the video on TMZ.com.He followed it up by saying, "I hope you never do". They were just having fun. Just banter.I've watched and listened to the video on TMZ.com.
I've downloaded the video from TMZ and ripped the audio from the video file.
Can someone indicate exactly at what point in the video that Dickerson said, "I hope you never do?" Or where Dickerson said, "Glad you didn't break my record?" Or where he directed either phrase at Elliott during the video?
I may have a problem with Dickerson's comments if I have missed hearing them in the video. If not, I don't have a problem with what Dickerson didn't say within the context of the impromptu interview.
Petty yes, pathetic? NoDickerson is pathetic.
