Did a problem arise?

Jerrah does not have the patience. He is an attention ***** who would be screaming for the spotlight if deal was done.

blah, I have no words. Manning is a FA and Mario Williams is in Buffalo. Even Jerry knows Carr will not steal that thunder.

Also guys don't forget, Orton is in town as well. I'm sure the Cowboys are busy. I would get some sleep. It could be tomorrow before we hear anything.

This is just as important, but getting less coverage than CB Carr. I hope to hear something soon on Orton. I think he is a good fit here...

Am I the only person worried about us most likely losing Laurent Robinson? I was really, really hoping we would resign him. It doesn't look like we will.
I think he's gone

It's not just as important at all. Carr is one of the better CBs in the league. Orton is a backup QB...

Maybe we'll get the double signing tomorrow

It's not about making the fastest moves.....it's about making the right ones. Have a little patience. No need to panic, guys.

Considering teams like Jax have a ton of money and no starting recievers, it's amazing that he will even get out of town. So maybe the market isn't what he expected.

........he won't be back: shame in a way, but it they pay him anything close to what the dopey foreskins paid Morgan: 12 mil over 5 years, well...you can't blame him. I could see him getting close to that. Chargers are said to be interested as well as Jags and Phins........thanks for the memories Lrob

it is a worry -- but he's likely been sent on a "see what you can get and come back to us" mission.

Yeah there are two ways to look at it, negative cause we haven't really signed anyone or positive on the fact that the big ticket items are still available.

We could've gone with a bunch of JAGs like the Skins did and make noise early which can't be seen as great, but the only problem with waiting for the big ticket items is if you fall short on them, there is alot less available to get at that point.

....and the guy they want the most is at their stadium. right now. that's fast enough for me. If it's gonna happen, the deal will get done sooner rather than later. Either way, I ain't sweating it.

Dude, the Cowboys would pay that to Robinson in a NY minute.

This is what Crayton got in 2007
Crayton to a four-year, $14 million contract that included a $6 million signing bonus in December 2007

I don't there's been a lot of signing compared to other years wait tommorow we'll get 2 or 3 players atleast we are visiting usually Cowboys visits don't come
So soon

The Cowboys are always slow announcing the agreements. Look for Carr and Orton to be announced tomorrow. Then they are at least interested in SOLB(in 3-4) Jeremy Mincey, TE John Carlson, TE Kellen Davis, and ILB Dan Connor.

Reports say that Mincey has resigned with Jax on a 4 yr deal.

I'm here but my eyes are closing. This old man can't do the Free Agency marathon like he did back in the day. I'll sleep easy tonight, no worries about Carr.

Thanks, SDogo. I have Dr. Phil on speed dial just in case.;)

Dallas unable to get CB Carr to sign this evening...excerpt below from David Moore reporting at 12:04am.

"The evening was spent feverishly trying to sign his (Newman) replacement.

Owner Jerry Jones, head coach Jason Garrett, defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and others wooed Carr at Cowboys Stadium on Tuesday night with the intention of getting the cornerback's signature on a long-term contract."

Does not sound like they were successful, at least not yet. I hope they get it done in the morning...at a decent salary level.
