It's just that if he would be yelling at anyone and saying we should have gone for it on fourth down, I think it'd be Payton.

He was not yelling, he just looked disgusted.

Payton was standing on Parcells left, Dehaven on his right when he said it.

There was no screaming, finger pointing, or crazy man gesturing going on.

He did not go screaming after McBriar after that either, he tracked him down and said something, and I might add McBriar nailed a 52 yarder, downed on the 5 yard line on his next kick.

Someone saw a bad punt, thought they lip read gone and took it and ran.

I added the part left out of the equation, down 35-7 with a 4th and 1, and gave another very possible reason to use the word gone.

So now Mosley is a lip-reader? Whether he ends up being right or not, that's just irresponsible reporting. There are some things that are obvious from reading lips, but the word "gone" is not one of them.
I can read lips a little and you are 100% correct. Anyone who doubts this go mouth the word vacuum to someone and see what they think you said.

"Gone" could be any number of things.
