Did anyone else see this dirty move by Pickens after the game?

:huh:Are you saying it's OK to get physical if your opponent taunts you after whipping your a______?

I get the sportsmanship card but competition sometimes brings together two opponents/challengers who truly don't like each other. One win and one lose and if you lose and I trash you after, take it like a man. You don't get violent .......
Let me grab someone by the face mask and yank them around. Let's see if the "all bets are off" point is valid.

There was no excuse for that. Could have injured Lewis' neck. Deserves a hefty fine and a game suspension.
Never said it's ok or excusing what Pickens did. I'm saying these are not robots, so emotions are running extremely high after a tough loss. So if someone is talking smack or taunting 2 seconds after the final whistle, it's very likely to lead to a physical altercation of some sort however you want classify it. The league will step in and handle it, likely with a fine.

Lewis reputation is just as bad as Pickens lol. I’m for it I have no issue with Lewis mouthing off especially if he’s backing it up. But let’s not act like Lewis is some saint.
Not even close. Stop it. Jordan Lewis is a mature team leader on defense that is on his 2nd contract. Pickens is a certified team headcase on a team that produces headcase WRs like hotcakes.

Lewis is known as a trash talker is my point go ask Amon St Brown…

He should be suspended ........ uncalled for. What if he had injured Lewis.......hell they should send this to the league off

Honestly, no big deal. Taunting is a penalty for a reason. You could fine them both theoretically and that might actually happen to the cries of "unfair!" around here. Just like CeeDee a few years back. Take your win and get out of the stadium unharmed and don't risk any nonsense.

Well, he was taunting the player and got what he deserved, IMO.

FYI ......This is the same ole same ole between Tomlin and Pickens. Pickens has been a problem (a lot of immature BS from my understanding) for Tomlin and the Steelers since his rookie season. He's always been a jerk and head case......

Lewis got in his face said something to him. He provoked him.

I saw it and thought

I saw it and thought Jodan Lewis should have just kept his mouth shut at the end of the game, but he thought that he would poke the bear one last time before heading to the locker-room and almost had his head ripped off.....LOL! The game was getting real chippy at the end and only bad things were going to happen if players kept jawing at each other and we happen to witness some of it.

So.......since when is violence the correct response to trash-talking? The responses are surprising to me.....you never have the right to put your hands on another person unwantedly.

The game was crazy chippy but honestly also I took an edible so I was just thinking guys let’s jsut get along

It wasn’t a good response by the Steelers player, but it was in the heat of the moment after a tough loss. There was no need for Lewis to get in his face and say something. It was poor sportsmanship and the player retaliated.

Yeah, and you don't go mouth off unless you want it to come back to you. Besides, this is not marbles they are playing.

no, he's not "known"...he has rivalries because he's a competitor. I get you want to be right, but you're confusing a player who has rivals with a player who is a headcase. Pickens is known by HIS TEAM to be a headcase. That can not be said of Lewis.
