Honestly, this stuff is old. It's been years now and those discussions are a long time gone. Both of these players are turning out to be all they were billed to be. One might be the best young Offensive Player in the league (arguably) and one might be the best young defensive player in the league (arguably). Nobody on either side of that discussion was wrong.

In fact, I don't even remember people who were against drafting Zeke doubting his abilities. The problem was the value proposition going forward. What it would cost to resign Zeke and how that contract effects the team going forward. That was always the concern, so far as I can remember.

They are both great young players IMO.
don't let logic and reason get in the way of some good ol' internet scoreboarding like half the people here love to do... smh

Ramsey this season has played at a below average level.

There is no way to compare him to Zeke.

Zeke’s impact has been greater.

Also, Ramsey stated some idiotic things this past offseason and now he is eating crow.

> part of the job description

The job can say whatever it wants, corners aren’t taking down Henry. Due is shrugging off defensive lineman and linebackers and you think Ramsey taking him head on is smart...

You folks are reaching. Business decision during a lost season is the best decision.

Go flip a burger and cry about the grease that burns your hand.

Didn't think that the OP was talking about any plays that Ramsey made or didn't make on Henry. The OP is talking about the flop Ramsey did with the Titans Oline man.

Jalen Ramsey is trash.

So glad we drafted Zeke
That's the second flop I saw over the weekend and last night.

I swear........if football turns into soccer, I'm done. The refs should flag it................make something up.

They're good at that.

I’m not going to trash Ramsey, he’s one of the better DBs in the game right now but I do think it’s laughable to think drafting him would’ve had comparable effect on this team as Zeke has.
I think Zeke has been directly responsible for the difference between a lot of Ws vs Ls for us.
I don’t think the Jags can say that about Ramsey and I don’t think we could’ve either had we drafted him.
Ramsey is one of the top DBs in the league but Zeke is one of the top players in the league.
Unless possibly 1st ballot HOF/generational talent at their respective positions (ie Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White or Deion Sanders) my personal opinion is to take the offensive player who directly effects points scored on any given play. So, QBs, RBs, and WRs get the nod in my book.

Just my own personal opinion. Although the Giants GM got lucky because ODB' s college tape wasn't all that, but I'd still take him over both Zack Martin and believe it or not, Aaron Donald, who may be inching towards a HOF/generational talent as well, in which case I would just have to call it a tie, lol. But Aaron Donalds dont grow on trees either, I guess.

This came after Lewan confronted Ramsey for celebrating a goalline stand despite losing 30 -9. Business decision had nothing to do with it.

Another bad look added to Ramsey's long list this year.
