The NFL makes billions per year and will not spend a few MILLION to have professional FULL TIME officials like every other major sport. pathetic.

how did that ump miss that call in the World Series when the ball landed a foot inside the foul line? Maybe he was a part timer or something.

You have to be shown more evidence after what we have already seen this year???

no, i want the evidence so i can show how inept the refs are and then get commissioner goodell and mike p.... vice president of officiatiing, to see what bogus answer they have for that,

well what bugs me is, yes Jenkins had hands to the face.....cool call it, cause it is a penalty.

yet, i am watching the Pats game and on a long pass, the Pats defender has a hand all in the facemask of the WR, just as the ball is about to be caught, NO FLAG....not only no flag for illegal hands to the face...but no hands for illegal contact or PI, when all 3 were committed.

I am starting to see the refs treating Jenkins the way they did Mario Edwards. If he is anywhere near the WR, they find a reason to throw a flag.

Yeah biggems, you know what is bothersome about that? Some refs call that kind of penalty and some refs dont. Seems like to me, the refs arent on the same page, like they should.

he caught the ball just short of the first down....the side judge walked to where the ball was to be spotted, but then started talking to another official. the Skins WR put the ball down past the marker, and the refs just left it there.

its nice to see players being allowed to spot the ball.

Dallas benefited from a similar judgment call when Barber appeared to be short of the first down line after 3rd and 1. They awarded us the first down without measuring.

They spotted the ball on the yard line, so there was no need to measure.

i agree.....the yellow line is not always correct...it is just there to give the fans an approximate view of where the team needs to go. it is far from accurate.

plus, and this is what some of our thick-headed fans can't seem to comprehend when comparing the two..........the official spotted our ball. thus the spot becomes legit, whether the spot was correct or not.

Randle el spotted the ball for the skins....thus the spot should not have stood. But since the refs were off to the side exchanging numbers or bbq recipes.....he got away with it.

I definitely saw it and commented at the time. But, i don't think you fine or punish Randle El for being a cheating punk. It is all on the inept officials.

im not upset with randle el.....all players try to stretch the ball forward.....im upset with the refs for not paying attention.

Honestly over the last several weeks, I feel like we are in the WWE.....I feel like we are the babyface, and our opponents the heels.....I feel that whenever they do something to us, the ref is purposely out of position or finds a way not to see it or call it.....yet when we do the slightest thing, we get repremanded.

Seriously, the way the they have been officiating our games, i'd swear Goodell borrowed them from Vincent Kennedy McMahon....

This wasn't nearly the same thing. After the play was over, Randle El got up, walked over to the ball, picked it up, walked back, then set the ball down where he wanted it. The refs were looking around for the ball, saw it on the ground where Randle El put it, then left it there, almost like they thought the other ref put it there.

Who knows, maybe the line judge saw it and thought it was right where he would have put it anyway. But it looked ridiculous.

I didn't see the side judge move his foot and I thought the ref came up and marked it a first down while the ball was still in his hand.

The ref had the spot short of the yellow line on the TV for certain when he was running in to mark it with his foot. Blew my mind.

Those "FULL TIME" officials in the NBA and MLB suck pretty bad at times too.
