Among the quoted threats:

▪ After being told Elliott didn’t want her at his house on July 21 and he didn’t want her coming out with him, Thompson responded with: “Ok this is what you want? Ok then, I’m going to ruin your life. You will see. If I was you, I wouldn’t go out tonight.”

▪ After being told she couldn’t come Elliott’s 21st birthday party, Thompson told him “that’s worst decision you made in your life. I’m going to ruin you life now.”

▪ The report also details a text message in which Thompson told Elliott: “You better be smart. And not be a dumb man.”

▪ After not being allowed in the after party, she was heard yelling and screaming that “your career is over” and then proceeded to call the police.

▪ Elliott is also “100 percent certain” Thompson told him on July 22, “You are a black male athlete. I’m a white girl. They are not going to be believe you.”

Per the documents, Friel was unable to give an clear endorsement of Thompson’s credibility because she repeatedly misled investigators.

If still going out and playing well and making millions of dollars is ruining someone's career...that must be a heck of a career.

At this point it seems pretty silly to say it has ruined him since it is only going into year two of his professional career.

There is still plenty of time to turn this around. All Zeke has to do is go out and play football while not appearing in TMZ. If he can do that, this alleged crime will slither away.

She ruined him. Even if he eventually clears himself this will hang over him forever.

If he doesn't fight this? Sure she did. She "wins" the battle in the court of public opinion. Especially when that public rushes to judgement and assumes guilt without actually taking the time and effort to know what they're deciding. That's often too burdensome for those who want instant gratification and freedom from the burdens of thinking for themselves. They want the "cliff notes" version of the truth because they don't have the time or energy to patiently find out the whole story.

I'll be seriously disappointed if this thing isn't fought all the way, from the kangaroo court appeal nonsense and into the legal system, where it should be. This league is arbitrarily making inconsistant decisions based on poor factual evidence and input from unqualified representatives working from agendas. All of that needs to be put on full public display. The NFL needs to be called out on it.

And, if this stands, Elliott loses millions in contract guarantees as well as damage to his reputation and any possible future endorsements. Nobody will touch this guy in business if this farce stands.

I am sure she was thinking how Ray Rice's career ended after his domestic violence charge made the news. Of course Ray Rice's career was already nearly over but the media has promoted the fact that DV ended his career, and there was also a very nasty video of him punching his then girlfriend which nailed the door shut on him.

You know the sad thing about all this are there are people on sports stations everywhere giving out their opinion on the situation that have no clue about the information in this article.

It's the guilty until proven innocent culture that has been created with people in the news who can't wait to grandstand their opinion about DV.

She should have had a film crew there, started bashing him in the head with a bat and then wait for this monster to attack.

I stand with her.

Amazing that the NFL got so involved in this case and sided with her.

Who knows if she is right or wrong..

Whats upsetting me is the news people who are applauding Goodell for this.

It's CYA, reactionary ******** is what it is. They know they've bungled and mishandled anything and everything they've touched on the DV issue. This isn't now their attempt to change that image. Facts and justice have nothing to do with it, as the evidence in the case clearly show. This isn't about getting anything right, it's about appearances.

That's why it all needs to go to a real court. Elliott needs to fight this like Jourdan Lewis fought his. Get the liar in the witness stand to stumble over her lies, threats, and conflicting testimony. She'll refuse to testify and show the world what she's about and that the league went along with those lies trying to make themselves look less incompetent.

If he continues to have his name attached to future incidents involving violence, the she was the catalyst for ruining his career. If he stops being a child and stays away from situations that would allow his name to be associated with off-field issues, this will all be water under the bridge.
