I posted this in another thread, but the bombshell in that article is that Zeke's accuser gave contradictory statements to THE NFL'S INVESTIGATORS and they still relied on her accusations in suspending him.

The NFL will get massacred in the lawsuit that is coming.

Then why isn't Zeke denying it? All he said was he's "disappointed in the league's decision." That is not a denial.

She's a crazy stripper. Fine. Doesn't mean he didn't hit her. His silence is deafening. And those pictures of bruises are right in our faces.

I'm not sure it matters if Zeke doesn't change his lifestyle. He's got Josh Gordon written all over him right now anyway.

If this was indeed true, and what took place, this woman needs to be sued for defamation of character, and brought up on charges of filing a false police report. If Friel indeed couldn't vouch for her credibility, I have no idea how they could have suspended him.
because the NFL gets to do what they want

It's CYA, reactionary bull**** is what it is. They know they've bungled and mishandled anything and everything they've touched on the DV issue. This isn't now their attempt to change that image. Facts and justice have nothing to do with it, as the evidence in the case clearly show. This isn't about getting anything right, it's about appearances.

That's why it all needs to go to a real court. Elliott needs to fight this like Jourdan Lewis fought his. Get the liar in the witness stand to stumble over her lies, threats, and conflicting testimony. She'll refuse to testify and show the world what she's about and that the league went along with those lies trying to make themselves look less incompetent.
That's what I was saying. In addition to going after the NFL, he really needs to go after her for character defamation if he knows what really happened and is telling the truth.

Ruin is probably too harsh a word. She has definitely cost him though. I suspect its going to be harder for him to get endorsement deals, for a while at least. And unless that's something modified in an appeal they have set the ground work to ban him from the league if anything else happens. If its false accusations he's not destroyed but its a pretty heavy penalty.

If still going out and playing well and making millions of dollars is ruining someone's career...that must be a heck of a career.

At this point it seems pretty silly to say it has ruined him since it is only going into year two of his professional career.

You have to look at the big picture here.

1. If he has another screw up he risks being banned from the league. That can be anything. Not just Domestic violence. Anything that the NFL deems bad.

2. Endorsements. Who's going to want a "woman beater as the face of their company

3. Respect in the locker room. They're players like Jason Wittin and other team leaders who will disown him if it's true that he did do this.

There's a lot of ways that this can get worse for EE if he doesn't clear his name. So far she is doing a good job a ruining his career. She just hasn't finished yet.

I'm sure his legal team told him what to include in his statement. Everything else will come out during their appeals process.

Women are like fire. They can benefit you or they can scar you if you're not careful. I truly believe this woman was out to get Elliott and the League acted in CYA mode but Elliott has to be really smart in his surrounding circle.

Interesting, if true: http://www.totalprosports.com/2017/...es-black-shes-white-nobody-would-believe-him/

Last week, Ezekiel Elliott was handed down a six game suspension from the league office, despite investigators dropping the case and also multiple test messages that suggested his ex-girlfriend was attempting to ruin him by making a false domestic violence claim.

Those text messages were made public months ago, but the NFL and Roger Goodell still decided to punish the Dallas Cowboys running back for that situation as well as other situations to make it seem credible.

Those text messages weren’t the only thing that was uncovered as the Star-Telegramgot a hold of some pertinent information that Tiffany Thompson threatened Zeke on multiple occasions to purposely ruin his career, even stating that he was Black and she was White and nobody would believe his side of the story.

Among the quoted threats:

▪ After being told Elliott didn’t want her at his house on July 21 and he didn’t want her coming out with him, Thompson responded with: “Ok this is what you want? Ok then, I’m going to ruin your life. You will see. If I was you, I wouldn’t go out tonight.”

▪ After being told she couldn’t come Elliott’s 21st birthday party, Thompson told him “that’s worst decision you made in your life. I’m going to ruin you life now.”

▪ The report also details a text message in which Thompson told Elliott: “You better be smart. And not be a dumb man.”

▪ After not being allowed in the after party, she was heard yelling and screaming that “your career is over” and then proceeded to call the police.

▪ Elliott is also “100 percent certain” Thompson told him on July 22, “You are a black male athlete. I’m a white girl. They are not going to be believe you.”

Per the documents, Friel was unable to give an clear endorsement of Thompson’s credibility because she repeatedly misled investigators.

The above threats were made on July 21 and the early morning of July 22, the date Thompson called to police accusing Elliott of assaulting her while they were in a parked vehicle.

Nice to see Lisa Friel holding her end up for the Giants this season.

Can't you just see her alone, at night, just before she goes to bed looking in the mirror, and fist pumping with a "hell yeah!"

That needs to come out - big time!

You would be shocked to know how many people have no idea that she's a diehard Giants fan. And the fact that the league would allow this obvious conflict of interest to occur shows how clueless or arrogant they truly are. Pick one.

He did deny it. "I strongly disagree with the league's findings."

Findings were, he did it. Disagreeing means he didnt do it.

In Friel's defense, Hill's story indicates that she didn't vouch for Thompson's credibility at all. It doesn't sound as if the league cares.

Weak. If you didn't do anything, you claim your innocence. You don't dispute the investigation. You just say you didn't do it.

Zeke is out of control. I find it easy to believe that he lost his cool and hit her at least once.

However, legally I think the NFL has a weak case.
