His problem is that he isn't a good football player. He doesn't even like the sport. He's definitely not a competitive guy. He's always been bigger and stronger than everyone around him and enjoys being that guy. It's not working in the NFL. There's hundreds of big, strong monsters who are competitive and who love the sport. This is the result. It's sad that our draft team fell in love with metrics instead of a football player.

100% agree. His contract was enough to satisfy him. He will probably have a burst near the end of this contract in a last ditch effort to milk the system for one more big pay day.

Did Schoonmaker play today? Talk about an awful awful draft. The 24 draft slammed the door shut on the Cowboys window.

I put that down to a draft for need, to address the biggest weaknesses on the team... a DT to help the Run D and Schoon, a blocking TE, that aided to whole running game by scheme over personnel....well that worked lol.
I'm not sure about McClay either especially: after the table banging for Mazi, Jerry appears to trust him. We need better as we dont trade and don't sign FA'S and hoard draft picks like gold.

Draft football players not guys with crazy athletic videos. My fear is the mistake they made drafting Mazi will cause them to shy away from drafting another DT high for a long time.

This guy's has time be one of the biggest Cowboy busts ever. I can't think of a higher draft pick for Dallas that's played as poorly. WTH is his problem?
