Am I the only one who saw the Pro Bowl, and thought, "Gosh, Tony looks BAD!"

He looked so flustered out there, I was embarasssed.

He couldn't seem to make up his mind when to throw the ball (ie. Bledsoe).

His throws seemed to be forced (ie. Bledsoe).

Was it the fact he had to learn a new playbook in a week or is he "RUINED" from all th "tough love" that the Tuna dished out to him everyday at practice and on gameday?

It was hard to listen to the fans booing Romo in the third quarter.
It was the FIRST time in the history of the Pro Bowl that a QB had ben booed. How sad!

Darn you, Parcells!

Gimme a break.

Romo hasnt played since the Seattle game.

He was working with all new WRs and had ONE week to get the timing down.

The so called Pro Bowl line was AWFUL, looked like the Dallas Cowboy pass blocking out there.

Did you notice Brees btw? He started out 1/5... Not all the QBs yesterday did anything special besides Palmer - and Manning had the advantage of throwing to Wayne with D. Hall in coverage.

People like this guy make me ashamed to have them as a Cowboy fan.

Seriously dude get a clue.

Making judgements on a guy during an all star game?

Only a Cowboys fan would make judgements on a guy, in a game they throw together in under a week, who plays on our team.

Would any fan do that in Basketball all star game? No... Baseball all star game? No.

This thread is a joke.

You should be waking up and thanking Parcells everyday that he helped bring a Quarterback back to Dallas and actually spent time developing the kid when he was here in Dallas.

I agree but even thats a stretch.

If there is one thing i've learned since i've became a hardcore fan of NFL football its to not judge anything at all from the pre-season.

For example this past preseason. Romo was good in the pre-season but Bledsoe knocked his socks off. Bledsoe was clearly better in the preseason than Romo.

Anyone think Bledsoe is currently a better QB than Romo? Didnt think so.

Making conclusions one way or another in the pre-season is pretty dumb.

I just wanted to see the "OLD" Tony.

The one who made all those incredible throws.

The one who seldom fumbled the ball.

The one who escaped many sacks only complete a miraculous pass downfield .

The one who had announcers raving about how cool and poised he was under center.

The one that didn't throw many incomplete passes.

The one we could count on to drive the team downfield to get the winning score.

The one who beat the world champion Indianapolis Colts!

He still seemed to be in that Parcells December "FUNK".

lol tru...but i was just implying...if your the type of person to get all worked up over a meaningless game..it might as well be a preseason game...rather a BS probowl game

LOL

I was watching the pro bowl yesterday wondering who and how many threads we would have today saying romo sucks and we should cut him etc...

well this is two.

I bet by the end of the week we will have at least 10 threads and two pro articles about why he sucks based on the pro bowl.

Pretty hillarious. I look forward to more.

Question...

How many Qbs didn't look "bad" in the probowl?

Nuff said. Especially for the NFC QBs, none of which got ANY time to throw the football.

I think some people really will blame Coach Parcells if we lose a game ten years from now.

Romo owes Bill Parcells quite a bit.

But he did exactly the things he was told NOT to do yesterday, yet Coach Parcells ruined him.

Joke indeed.

Much less a guy who isnt used to the Routine like all those other guys were.

Im pretty sure Romo and Vince Young were the only QB's who havent gone to the Pro Bowl before.

For anyone whos ever played a lick of football at any level I dont think its possible to throw together an offense in 1 week with a bunch of guys rotating in and out and expect things to run smoothly.

It's especially difficult on the OL when the opposing DL keeps stunting.

You will never see all those Romo's again....! Parcells has totally ruined the poor guy. I feel sorry for Romo, because he could have been a contenda...now he's just a pretenda...

I do feel sorry for him...but, I feel more sorry for you!

Carry on...

Rather than comparing Romo to some romanticized ideal existing only within our minds, why don't we compare him to the other QBs who played in the Pro Bowl:

Tony Romo 11/19 156 yards 1 TD 1 INT

Marc Bulger 8/15 133 yards 0 TD 0 INT
Drew Brees 2/7 23 yards 0 TD 0 INT
Carson Palmer 8/17 190 yards 2 TD 0 INT
Vince Young 4/10 71 yards 0 TD 1 INT
Peyton Manning 5/12 67 yards 0 TD 0 INT

Romo was unquestionably the most effective NFC QB, and overall, only Carson Palmer played a better game. In fact, Romo boasted the best completion percentage and was only one of 2 QBs to throw a TD pass.

If Romo did indeed "struggle" yesterday, he was in good company.

Dude back away from the edge, please don't jump...

Romo settled down nicely and then went 11-19 with a TD/INT not bad considering it was his first Pro Bowl and wind and all...
