Did Sunday night change your opinion of Romo?

Just curious.

To the Romo lovers, did it change your opinion of him as a top-tier QB?

To the Romo critics: Did it make you more convinced he's an up and down QB, i.e. inconsistent or even overrated when facing cupcakes?

To those inbetween: Did the game sway you one way or ther other?

Not really he was 10/10 to Witten for no gain.

He has not changed my opinion of him. I would say the only difference is that due to age, injuries and wanting to limit turnovers he has toned down his wow factor sandlot type of plays he used to make here and there when the online would open the flood gates and the bum rush would start.

This is not a slam on you, gimmie, and I hope someone else can verify what I saw,, but on the program to start the game, did you see how they spelled Romo's name? lmao

It was....

Tony Roma and the Cowboys vs. Brees and the Saints. Or something like that. When I saw that you are the first person that came to my mind, then it was like, WTH, why would a TV producer allow a mistake like that?

I really hope someone can post a screen shot of that...I'm sure someone besides me saw that.

In my tiny heart ah knew, just knew that it was Roma. That is validation enough for me, yes sir!

I swear, doghead...they actually aired that! If I can find the NFL replay, maybe I can find a screen shot of that. Unless they somehow correct it. I wish I would have saved the game on Tivo like I normally do, but when the score got up to so high that I knew the game was over, I just changed the channel to 60 Minutes and deleted the game. It might be the first time I ever have not watched the game to the end!!

I Will honestly be excited when we have a young QB out there with lots of potential. Just something fresh from this team. Not old, dry and boring. Watching these players feels like I'm watch I love Lucy reruns.

Why would ONE bad game change my opinion?

Is this a serious thread? Or are you sitting back with your buddies reading these responses and laughing your butt off?

Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan, and Colin Kaepernick also had bad games yesterday. Did those games "change your opinion" on those QBs?

In all fairness, I must say that one game do not a quarterback make.
He will still turn out lights with his passing efficiency and will still have great personal stats. That's it. No playoff wins, no Super Bowls.

Great game day QB. No one who'd take his team any further than "wait till next year."

Classic ufc drivel.

No credit for epic game-winning drive vs Minny but all blame for not doing enough before then...then the exact opposite for the Denver game; no credit for epic game (one of the best in thge league this year) before final drive but then all the blame for for not having one final drive for the win vs Denver.

You are unbelievable.

Whats unbelievable is your blind love for the guy. He can completely throw a game away and all you will talk about is his stats.

Andrew Luck his bad self would not have won this game. And, I would go as far and say there is not a QB in the NFL, CFL, College, or in the CIA, FBI, IRS, BYOB, TGIF, or anywhere else.

No. 1 i belief that one game do not a qB make.
No. 2 I half no buddies though I am open to friendship here.
No. 3 you can cap-slap my mama, you can step on my blue-suave shoes and you can call me late for dinner but do not ever take my criticisms for disloyalty to the Cowboys. I was there crying out with Landry "No Danny, no Danny no!" and "tearing up when jackie missed the football in the endzone when you were just a gleam in the milkman's eye and the twinkle in Dorothy's shoes.

As for those QB, they are young and will do great things and they too will half bad days. But ya know, I'd take any of those you mentioned in a heartbeat If I thot it would improve the Cowboys to better than mediocre.

I'm still behind Romo 100%. That's my quarterback!!

What I saw was a Dez Bryant that was completely blanketed. But I also saw receivers that cannot get open. Romo forced a couple of passes and was lucky not to have them picked off, but the receivers were just not finding space. Credit to New Orleans' defense, but even a top-tier QB will struggle if his receivers can't get open/make catches.

I still believe Romo gives this team the best chance to win.

OK, I'd still rather have Andrew luck. I bet colts fans feel better about there team after they got smashed yesterday than cowboy fan feel right now.

Did he throw the game away, Mr. I Got You On Ignore because I don't have the stones to hear anyone that does like Romo or that if you cannot hate him like me..."it's time to put you on ignore." Pathetic...

Romo did not lose this game, period!

And, that proves what?

What kind of logic is that?

So are you saying Dallas lost the Denver game because of Romo?

Well, few people would not rather have Luck. He's a young franchise QB with the potential to be one of the best ever.

Well, Romo did throw the pick at the end of the game. I guess the defense gets a break or is not in consideration for a loss, it's just Romo. smfh

Amazingly, there are some that think that way.
That 48 points was not good enough

Logic of what? I would rather have a young QB with lots of potential than an over the hill over paid QB that has never done any thing significant in the league. Any other questions?

That's my point. I would rather have that kind of optimism than what we got now.
