Did we accomplish anything in TC?

We learned that hamstring fever is back and as virulent as ever among our rookies.

And that the Cowboys have not lost their touch finding undrafted gems. Cooper Rush and Lewis Neal are the latest.

We have seen that DMC still has some tread on the tire. He's nowhere near as good as EE, but there's no reason he can't be a 4.5 ypc type of back. Morris lost some weight and is a viable candidate, but Rod Smith looks better.

Dak has nicely improved as he has trimmed some of the fat off his throwing motion and footwork and he looks in even better shape than last year. He likely has developed a better feel for Dez as well.

Cooper Rush provides a lot of optimism at the backup QB spot. Given his small school background it's reasonable to believe there's a chance we found a diamond in the rough that could be a legitimate starter some day in the NFL compared to a Matt Moore or Brett Hundley who played at big schools and may have less upside since scouts got a much better look at them and they had better training facilities to work with Rush.

We don't know about Switzer, but I get the impression the staff loves the kid and was being extra-extra precautionary and has plans to use him that they don't want to give away to early season opponents.

Rico showed he can play in this league and could be a threat this year. Swaim and Hanna came back much healthier than projected.

Byron Bell can play in this league, Cooper can start at LG and Green is best suited to play tackle as he doesn't have the feel for guard. Dan Skipper showed some promise as well as Ross Burbank.

We also got a lot more hurry up, no huddle with Dak and it worked extremely well.

Defensively we saw excellent progress in Jaylon Smith's health. Unfortunately, Hitchens got injured as he improved tremendously this year. Charles Tapper got snaps and Taco got better each week but still has a long ways to go in order to be an effective player.

Kavon Frazier got much better and should make the jump to quality special teams player and hopefully the jump towards contending for the starting SS spot.

The DB rookies were too injured and didn't get enough playing time, but showed promise, outside of Lewis who barely did anything at training camp.

We also have some promising looking practice squad players like Bryan Brown, Noah Brown, Skipper, Burbank, Lenoir, Ivie, etc.

If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit! :)
I'm always using the past to think ahead... I remember working, At 16, at a car garage and watching the OJ trial from a 10" B/W telly while I was trying to do as many oil changes as I could...
I'll always remember those moments.

I was in 5th grade, and just like "wut" the whole time.
