Taco has significantly gotten better.
So has Gathers.
Collins is coming along nicely.
Paea has emerged.
Cooper Rush is picking up what Dak was doing last year.
Dak has improved markedly with his mechanics, his ability to throw from different platforms, his quickness in going through reads, and passing from the pocket.
Hanna has shown he can still play in the NFL
Dez has built a tremendous rapport with Dak and vice versa. Dak knows how to get him the ball now.
Jaylon has improved steadily as he knocks off rust and adjusts to the pro game. He can pick his foot up now we know for sure.
Frazier now looks comfortable in his assignments on defense.
Woods bit hard as a puppy. Neal and both Joneses too.
Theaker has shown up.
Jones is settling in nicely into his FS role.
DLaw has returned from injury and is playing well.
Irving is more consistent in his attack on OL.
Butler is more consistent and showing better hands.
Noah Brown now runs routes and gets separation
The DL is getting consistent push.
Only one major injury and none to a star player.
Rod Smith has emerged as a legitimate NFL RB and ST.
The downsides have been
Zeke railroading
Moore is awful
depth on the OL; Green's inability to stay healthy.
cohesiveness in coverage LB and secondary
injury to Hitchens,
hamstrings of the rookies. Thornton.
No one has runaway with the LG spot but Cooper has been steady and competent.
Great recap.
I don't have many worries.
Punt returner and Tyron's back are my top two concerns.
La'el is an upgrade.
Cooper has been decent.
Between Green and Bell or Cleary Swing OT is OK.
Jaylon/Durant OK at MLB. Depth?
They were not depending on 3rd round pick Lewis so injury not a huge issue.
Awuzie did play some and is practicing again.
Zeke is a star player so missing him is not great, but RB was not a huge problem before Zeke. The OL makes guys like McFadden shine (2015).
Basically if Switzer's hammy holds up at PR and Tyron OK, then the Cowboys are primed to be terrific.
