Pot is illegal - for a while. Its legal in several major States and California has bill likely to pass in the fall that will make it legal in California as well. I don't smoke, but in two years more than half of the country will live in a State where its legal. The times they are a'changing.

I wouldn't argue with the reality that marijuana is being seen from a different perspective than it was in the distant past. Nevertheless, the smoking of it now will just get players in trouble.

It's still up to the players to resist their desires to participate in its use as long as they're running the risk of endangering their livelihood. To fail to avoid it is to create an unnecessary risk.
