when speaking of the defense from strictly a performance standpoint, they were bottom of the barrel horrid today. just absolutely pathetic in virtually every facet

It cracks me up when some of you say, "We won the game, so don't bother with the cracks in the dam". We flat out can't put constant pressure on a QB unless we blitz regularly. The next draft needs to include a bonafide pass rusher. Ware can't do it alone. I see him triple teamed sometimes, and the other guys still don't get pressure. I really like Victor Abiamiri from Notre Dame. The guy had 10 sacks in 11 games this year, along with 14 QB hurries his senior year. Last year he had 8 sacks in 10 games. At 6-4, 265, he would be the perfect counterpart to Ware.
Every great defensive team needs at least two excellent pass rushers to put constant pressure on the QB & to give the secondary support. Unless a Hatcher, or a Glymph comes forward, we have to take a rusher high in the draft.

Yeah it negates it apparently...that sucks. Roidboy Merriman had 2sacks.
