Did you not believe after 24-0 in 1991 or 31-7 in 1992?

Jason and the coaches need to have these guys ready and a game plan with ADJUSTMENTS not only from the last game, but DURING the upcoming game. Coaching will have a huge impact on this game and we need to limit mistakes and turnovers, of course.

I disagree. The psychology of players after they are made aware of team history is a factor.

The psychology of the home crowd knowing this history and fearing it's possible again can contribute to a lack of confidence if things start to go bad for them and affect the teams play. Imo.

Obviously I have only my experience playing and watching sports. So I could be way off. But that's how I feel.

Psychology isn't going to turn Jeremey Mincey into Charles Haley or Nick Hayden into Russell Maryland.

I was more referring to when we come out and start winning their team and crowd would get down and the history could be a factor.

Huge difference......Early 90's the window was opening. Now....this is the last go round for Romo. Window about to close.

That really is significant. Of course this team isn't half as talented as that one, but the state of the QB is a big factor too. An emerging Troy Aikman vs. a broken down Tony Romo.

That should temper the enthusiasm for every fan in terms of the future of this team. Until they can find the next QB, they're not set up for anything but mediocre.

That goes for twenty other teams in the NFL as well.

Every game from this point forward is clearly a case of....

We never played a thanksgiving game following a Sunday night game on the road.... ever. . We just played on Sunday night and got off the plane Monday morning at 6am. Romo was out of his established routine for his back, it's really easy to see what happened here. Trying to make believe it didn't happen is funny though.

Romo has been out of his established routine since he underwent back surgery. You keep talking about him what about the defense? You're going to blame a dreadful performance like that on being tired? That was the most important game of the year and the entire team didn't show up.

We're going to run it down their throats. Philadelphia is a soft team. They are fast but soft. You want killer instinct... Watch our offensive line spring Murray for another 100+ yards.

McCoy will not break 100 yards if they set the edge. Book it.

Do you have a prediction on the board prior to the first matchup with Philly?

A lot of things get brought up with the Cowboys that have nothing to do with this year because they follow a familiar pattern almost every season. We hear about their bad Decembers every year before we even reach December. We had the bye week and returned to play a one win JAX team. The Cowboys haven't had much luck the past few years returning from long weeks to face a good team. In 2012 they had a long week after beating the defending SB champion Giants on opening night which happened to be a Wednesday and returned 11 days later to get crushed by Seattle.

Three weeks later they had a bye and returned losing to the Ravens who went on to win the SB that season. Last season after a 10 day break in Dec they returned and got crushed by the Bears. Even Garratt scoffed at the excuse the team wasn't rested after the Philly loss he mentioned the Eagles went through the same thing plus they had to travel. There was no excuse for how poorly the Cowboys played on Thanksgiving because they play on Thanksgiving every year.

The bye after Jacksonville has nothing to do with it. Once we played that game on Sunday night the bye became a non-factor. All that other stuff you are talking about again has nothing to do with the Cowboys be physically ready to play on Thanksgiving. The Sunday night game was a factor period.

The Cowboys got whipped on Thanksgiving in every phase of the game. We'll just have to see if they've gotten over it and are going to step up and play a respectable game this time.
