Love Turpin, but he needs to stop fumbling.
That's a real and valid concern.

I've noticed that when he carries the ball the supporting cast is on alert...follow the guy downfield and be ready to clean up. The team did exactly that on Turpin's one 2023 fumble.

Anybody giving Jerry the GM credit for this find or is he only allowed to get blamed for stuff?
You know the answer.

Over a very long tenure here I've posted hundreds of anti-JJ posts, and started numerous anti-JJ threads. But those who can't give him and the FO some credit...start to lose credibility (and become tedious bores).

What dirt does Turpin have on you @T-RO ? :lmao:
He might have planted some of those nasty artificial field pellets on me on my recliner cuz he runs and cuts so damn fast....flew right through the tv screen. ;)

This and it isn’t old school football. If Turpin tried to play in the 80’s or even 90’s. I’d hope he had life insurance for his family. 0.o

Those people hit, bodies used to go flying. That was for people well heavier than he is. Lol In today’s nfl he may can handle it all over a season. Idk it is neutered football league now.
Remember Gerald "the Ice Cube" McNeil. Dude was even smaller than Turpin but had a nice little career as a return man in the NFL in the late 80's.

I don't exactly remember the Ice Cube, but I'm at a point in life where I forget most everything. You get my like--and my respect--for bringing him into the conversation. Might just look up some YT highlights. :)

Yeah, Turpin would have been fine in the 80’s. Might have been more physical with less protection rules, but players were also a lot smaller!

its funny, just a few hours ago I was thinking how 50 years ago people used the word "cat" for a man, dude, guy, etc
I think I had some old song playing and it was in a lyric and made me giggle a bit thinking "my goodness remember when cat was a popular word?"
Then I come see this post, spooky man, youre a cool cat man

p.s. just thought of the song Hercules by Elton John from 1972......" a cat named Hercules ah ah ah "

Don't think you can use him a lot more. 3-4 offensive touches per game perhaps, which would constitute a big increase. When he's on the field he gets attention, which by itself is valuable.
YES, more as the primary WR3, i know they want to get Tolbert involved by my eyes and guy says use KT MORE, time will tell on Tolbert. but KT motion quickness and way to avoid traffic is necessary for an offense to go from averages to having a dangerous big play potential 1-2 times game. same as Vaughn a few more carries at the right moment he is the only back on our team that can plant and change directions sometimes twice inside yard and make a Defender miss and get bigger gains.

You've learned Turpin can be a special punt returner, but did you know this? C'mon just admit that you had no idea what this cat is about or what he has achieved! :p

-The dude weighs much less than Deuce and is in the discussion as the NFL lightest active player at 152 pounds

-In his limited role as WR....he had 12 catches...but in 3 of those he scored a TD (25% score rate)

-In just one second quarter reception he accounted for Dallas' only TD and 17% of Dak's passing yards vs 49ers

-As a runner he averaged 10 yards per carry, and not all those carries were jet sweeps! He lined up in the backfield at times.

-In 21 total offensive touches he scored 4 touchdowns and accounted for 9 first downs. 13/21 touches produced a score or a first down.
yes have watched him since he was a Frog, thats what he does has one of the highest score per touches i have seen, he is truly electric. He is crazy dangerous when put in motion because they have to account for him or he will end up in your endzone.
