I live in Philly and the differences can easily be picked out.
1. Training Camp
The Eagles this year ran probably the most physical camp. Guys were in pads and hitting from day one and continued all the way to the week before the season started. In our camp we werent in pads as much as other teams. Matter in fact I think we could of held the record for least amount of time in pads and hitting. Why is this important? This shows who the contenders and who the pretenders are. We could see early who will quit or complian about the intesity of camp. I would go out on a limb and say we would get some quitters. I can see Tank whining about the need not to get beat up before the season starts. Spears would come up with a phantom injury along with other players, etc. Point being, the whiners and guys that wont make it through a rough camp you should consider getting rid of. These are the guys who wont get the job done when their tired in the 4th quarter when you need to put the extra effort in. We have too many of these players. A tough camp will make the locker room chemistry killers jump to the head of the class in the preseason rather than in week 17. Those players that leaked the information in week 15 about TO would of leaked info to Ed Werder in week 2 of training camp about its too hard. Maybe then we could of cleaned up the mess rather than after the season. True character comes out when your beat up and tired rather than when your in and ill use the quote "camp cupcake."
2. Play calling
If you notice when the Eagles went on there streak they did so by pass protection. The Eagles I beileve gave up the least amount of sacks this year. Why? The Eagles always keep 9 into block and let two recievers work down the field. An example of this is when Buckhalter caught that 58 yarder on us. He stayed into block and when he blocked for about 4-5 seconds he leaked out and Mcnabb hit him. The Eagles always do this. Westbrook in the 2nd Giant game is another example where he leaked out after staying into block and beat Pierce for a 55 yard td. Now if you compare this to us there is really no comparison. We always send 3-4-5 guys out in pass routes and the oline has no help whatsoever. Speed rushers kill us because when they blow pass our slow tackles, instead of having a back or in the eagles case back's into help out, there in a short pass route thats worth nothing. Its small things like this is the difference between winning and losing.
3. Coaching
Eagles let Desean Jackson play from day one and he changed the face of that team. We didnt even give Felix the ball once in the Commander game. Not only this it was a struggle every week in giving him touches. If Felix didnt get hurt it might had been a frustrating season because we wouldnt use him. I still say if he stayed healthy we should had used him and barber like the Titans did with Johnson and White. Felix needs to start next year and Barber needs to come in as a sub and pound people. Like it or not but I think that would give us the most successful chance. Only problem is we dont have anybody on our team that has the guts to pull that off. Desean Jackson would be Stanbach if he was on this team. Miles Austin is a player but he cant stay healthy and the coaches never use him. Put Miles on SF and see what he does. Every time that guy gets his chance he always gets open. Remember the Raven game when Romo overthrew him. Just the small things.
