let me see if i can make this one a bit more "sincere" to opinions on the board - *all* of them, not just what i want it to come out as like some people do.

I think I'm ready for a change. But then again, BP had us at 7-3. That should have translated into a playoff birth. We really faultered in the end. Sorta like 2003.

All I know is:

- after 3 years, we're barely better than we were 3 years ago.
- we do have some good young players
- we're old at QB and WR
- Drew Bledsoe is NOT the answer
- neither is Key or Glenn
- revamp the OL
- get a real OL coach
- get a real kicker ... pay the loot
- get a good long snapper ... no more dime a dozen LS's
- ***** the 3-4.
- Ware to DE.

You mean yet another rebuild attemp? Things may not be getting done as quick as you would like but this team is getting better and the picks have been getting better. I have no doubts that Bill knows what he is doing and will get this team back on top.

year 3 we're on our 3rd qb. when parcells came in he said he didn't have time to groom a young guy. i suppose it can take 3 years or so - 1/2 that if you're a manning. so since we can't groom a guy parcells will go with 3 qb's in 3 years.

you tell me, is that a plan or is 3 qb's in 3 years flinging stuff on a wall with albiet educated throws and hoping one sticks?

I picked sign Bill to an extension and keep bledsoe.

just dont think we have a young QB thats gonna be a player in this league. We should start looking and let them learn for a year or two under bledsoe.

dont think bledsoe did bad considering no running game at all and the fact that dallas gave up so many sacks.

Sign Parcells to an extension, pick up the option on Drew Bledsoe, draft a young QB if possible and above all else, get an real open compatition at QB this year in camp. At the end of the day, the guy who wins is the starter, the winner between Henson and Romo gets the number two job, the loser gets moved and the young guy is brought along. I'm a believer in drafting a QB prospect as often as possible. I look at it as an investment.

In your opinion and yes your clearly entitled to it but I trust Parcells ability over yours or any other fan out there. I do think he is moving this team in the right direction and when all is said and done this team will be back on top. As for QB I don't know what is in the future and guess what neither do you unless you can read Bill's mind which I highly doubt.

no, but i am pretty good at seeing patterns and trends and seeing "pieces to puzzles" and this is how i see things unfolding.

could i be wrong? HELL YES! could i be right? maybe. isn't talking about it why we're here? thought so. is bill smarter than me? in this case i hope so.

that's a big part of what i see and why i want him gone NOW. if he's this wishy washy about HIS PLAN SO FAR that he doesn't know if he wants to come back, GO RUN AND BE FREE!!! otherwise we've got another half-hearted attempt next year and 90% chance of more of what we saw this year.

if you're gonna stay - SIGN THE DAMN EXTENSION AND QUIT DOING THIS AT EVERY YEARS END.

sooner or later he's gonna walk and leave us with a BP mess not many coaches will keep on this path.

no. i can only achieve happiness when you pull your head out of bledsoes jock and realize I HAVE NEVER AT ANY TIME SAID I HATED BLEDSOE.

I voted to drop both. I think Dallas would be infinitely better off if Parcells exits before Ellis and Glover are dumped and he can take young Vinnie Bledsoe with him.

This team is so freaking close to being a serious contender I'll be sick to my stomach if Parcells throws it all away trying to destroy the team like he's done at every other stop right before he walks away (see I'm the genius, no one else can win with those players).


Find a coach (hopefully Ron Rivera) that's smart enough to use a scheme that takes advantage of the players' strengths. Back to the 4-3 and get Keith Davis off the field even if that means paying Henry obscene amounts of money for a FS and this defense can be spectacular.

Offensively, get a Brad Johnson or Jon Kitna as the "starter" but pick one of the two backup QBs, annoint them the heir apparent and get them in for at least one series a game. Tell Larry Allen thanks for the memories but see ya. Go OT in the first (LT, RT, doesn't matter),OG in the second, OLB/FB with the next two.

so far about what i expected to see - most let it go 1 more year. while i can see that and understand that, my gut says we'll get the same this year cause i just don't think he can fix the line in ONE year when he's failed to do it in 3.
