If he isn’t getting picks, he is worthless. He doesn’t want to tackle and can barely cover anymore. We saw some of that pre-injury but it is beyond obvious now. He is just not a good CB right now….

I don't think he likes Zimmer's scheme. He's been used to playing tight on the receiver and getting INT's instead of Zimmer's scheme where he lines up 15 yards off the line.

The entire secondary rarely is close enough on ANY pass play to make a play on the ball. So few passes deflected or knocked out. And oftentimes, there are receivers running WIDE OPEN. It's embarrassing. Having said that, this defense has loads of injuries.

But Diggs is still not showing elite coverage skills, he simply looks like he's lost a step. That doesn't bode well for this secondary...especially if Bland comes back a bit slower too. Yikes!

The Cowboys haven't had a good defense in so many years, even though Quinn did find a way to get turnovers...which this team surely misses. But I'm still happy Quinn's gone, though he's probably licking his chops to play the Cowboys with his newfangled Commanders.

Yeah these receivers are wide open every week. I don't know what kind of coverage this is but it needs to stop and they need to go back to batting down passes and getting interceptions. That's what I would do. But they can keep getting torched if they want. They're going to get fired for it.

Diggs is definitely a graduate of Prime Time Tackling School.

I'm going to defend Diggs. He was awesome pre-injury and once he gets a decent DL in front of him and Bland back those 2 will be fits for WR's. The turnovers will come when the DL plays better. Right now, Diggs isn't getting much help.
Disagree. He had gaudy INT numbers b/c he took more chances than any CB in the league. During his all-pro campaign before the injury he also gave up more yards than any CB in the league. PFF hated the way he played and he scored very poorly in their scoring system. He is the most selfish player on the field. He knows INTs are what get the big contracts. So why not go for it and to hell with the rest of the defense? Most fans and media only remember the 1 INT not the 120 yards receiving he gave up trying to get that INT.

You might be closer to the truth than you really think.

As soon as they got paid it was vacation time
No, he was like this before he got paid..ie, the whole business decision he made in his contract year. Shame on him, not shame on Jerry because we had to sign him

He'll probably be another contract they regret. This guy is soft, he doesn't have the elite coverage skills to be shying away from contact the way he does. He’s not getting turnovers, Dan Quinn leaving was the worst thing for him.
PROBABLY REGRET???????? I know it takes players a little while to bounce back from knee surgery, but in Diggs case he is still doing the stupid stuff that hounded him before he was injured. He tackling skills are a joke, with his sissy style tackling not to mention his inability to keep up with receivers. He got all his interceptions a couple of YEARS ago jumping receiver routes, but the league caught onto his little game and have since forced Diggs to give receivers almost a 10 yd gap because he doesn't have the speed to keep up with a lot of the receivers in the league. Most of Diggs issues were before the knee surgery so is he worth all the money he's being paid because he had a couple of decent seasons............... I don't think so.

I’m not making any excuses for Diggs. The stuff i’m seeing has nothing to do with recovering from an injury and everything to do with effort

You have to want to wrap up the ball carrier, there were at least 3 or 4 those ‘attempts’. This dude is right under Dak on my **** list

He did that all game....His *** should be roasting on Twitter right now....

I'm not down on Diggs yet. Next year will tell. He's common off an injury and you can see he's timid. Give him a year to get back mentally.

He got beat for the long TD in press coverage

I am not going to be too hard on him one year back from a serious injury and no pass rush at all.
