LOL Parsons is the only reason we could defend the pass the last 3 seasons. But you want to get rid of him and keep the overpaid corner instead.

Classic
How about getting rid of both of them

Diggs is no shutdown corner
And
Parsons is not to be compared to LT

He'll probably be another contract they regret. This guy is soft, he doesn't have the elite coverage skills to be shying away from contact the way he does. He’s not getting turnovers, Dan Quinn leaving was the worst thing for him.
No one can be an elite corner with zero pass rush.

We didn't get pressure. CBs look bad when that happens.

Watch a bit more football -- with your eyes, not while staring at your phone intent on your fantasy football updates -- you might start to understand things a bit more.

Dude got paid and lost his balls, avoids contact like he is scared of breaking a nail...................I would trade that puzzy tonight if I was the GM.

I would be trading his *** tonight if it was me....before anyone can see that game film. That's a career changer once that tape gets out. :banghead:
At this point, who would be stupid enough to trade for him?

I'm going to defend Diggs. He was awesome pre-injury and once he gets a decent DL in front of him and Bland back those 2 will be fits for WR's. The turnovers will come when the DL plays better. Right now, Diggs isn't getting much help.
I would agree, but the man is dodging tackling. He doesn't want the contact. He's scared or too busy thinking about business decisions to actually want to play the way he's supposed to.

To be fair on Diggs, last year, before his injury he seemed to make a change and was a more physical player. He caused that fumble vs the giants week 1 and he was making actual tackles in the run game. He is not back to 100% with his injury. You can see it, even if it might just be mental. That being said, today's effort was abysmal by him.

Diggs benefited from a big pass rush. Without it not so much.

Yes, exactly - he benefitted in the form of all those INTs that we all loved. But now without them, you notice he has been massively overpaid. Almost every one of our top paid players are overpaid - Dak, Martin, Diggs, D-Wilson, Steele, and Parsons about to enter that group next. All not worth at all what they are being paid. Lamb is debatable - but he is a top WR getting paid what top WRs get paid now. I don't believe any one player is worth that amount - especially in the salary cap era, but they do have to have him. There would be no reason to watch if not for Lamb, so his contract is the least problematic to me. He is our only chance of getting in the End Zone. Unbelievable how this team just can't get in the End Zone. They aren't beating anybody good kicking all FGs.
Don't forget giving Trey Lance 5 MillIon $ to practice some and made a few pre-season games. Nice work if you can get it, lol. Would have loved them to have that 4th Round pock that they could have taken a RB with too. Must be nice to have so much money, you can waste it like this.

I think they regret Terrence Steele more. He already had his recovery season. Not sure what the excuse is now.

They signed Diggs to a big contract based off of one year in which he lead the league in INTs but also lead the league in yards allowed. Shockingly (read: not a shocker at all), QBs were able to improve on the things that made them throw INTs but he wasnt able to improve on not biting on every single double move.

There seems to be a common theme with contracts and performance.
