We all know Diggs and know tackling was not his strength.

But it was shocking at times to see him seemingly do as much as he can to avoid it in a game that’s win or go home.

I know it wasn’t a secret about Diggs but man, a guy like Deebo is gonna work him if he’s planning on playing defense just the same.

Love Diggs, we can’t do this without him.
He seemed very aware of other players around him and just stepped out of the way so someone else could make a tackle.

Shades of Deion without the Deion coverage……can’t tackle for squat!

He clearly made some business decisions today.
I have to wonder if those business decisions were in fact actually business decisions. The coaching staff knows if Diggs goes down the already thin cornerback position becomes a fatal flaw. Or maybe instructions for him to make sure he doesn't get himself hurt. Because even though he isn't getting the interceptions this year he is still our most important person in the secondary and a shutdown corner

I thought about that myself as well.

His teammates should be more angry than us. They all put their bodies on the line every play only to watch him step aside from a tackle.

If he plays this way next year, when his contract is up I would let him walk. He needs to step up his game in a big way. Imagine giving him a big contract and watching him play like he did tonight?
If he continues to play this way in the playoffs we should trade him this off season for a first rd pick and pick up a CB with that pick

If he improves, then great

He started the season with a visible improvement in tackling - remember the crunch time play vs Bengals week 2?

But yesterday was so bad that it just became head scratching. Almost as embarrassing as Maher
Remember the Sam Howell meeting at the goaline, last week?
