The Cowboys usually have about 3-4 “bad” games every regular season and that’s the team that shows up in the playoffs most of the time.

Yet have STUNK in the playoffs when it really matters.

Like Aikman and Jimmy said after the disaster loss to Green Bay---they did not expect it at all.

If the front office put together a roster that has won more games(36) than any NFC team in the least three and 2nd only to the Chiefs (37) in the entire NFL, why should they be able to predict a Green Bay flop when almost all of the experts didn't?

The solution isn't so simple that a bunch of fans on the internet would know more than Aikman or Jimmy Johnson.

The solution has to be out there, but its tough.
We have a bunch of guys that crumble when the pressure is on, that's the problem.

Who do we blame for the record, McCarthy, Stephen, Jerry, Dak or all of the above?

The solution starts and ends with Prescot, He's proven every year since 2017 that he struggles beating teams with a winning record. Take a look at the stats of both Mahomes and Allen when the face each other, their passing yards aren't off the wall, but they find a way to beat each other. These type of QBs take their game to another level, whereas Prescot goes MIA. It's time to move on from him and if that means a couple of losing seasons to earn some high draft capital then so be it, let's go for it because winning the division doesn't mean squat anymore...................

I am no football genius, but lack of toughness and bad culture seem to be the most likely reasons.

Yay everyone gets t-shirts and ball caps!!!

That isn't the goal. Not even close. Their post season record is far more important.

Hey, it's good for TV ratings and merch sales though.

One of the main problems has been the offense consistency scoring points during a playoff game and this has been the case for many years even going back to 2016 against the Packers when the Cowboys offense didn't get going until half way through the second half against one of the worst pass defenses in the history of the play offs.

People absolving Prescott from blame against the Packers in the Play Offs this season - he gift wrapped one TD and put the Packers in fantastic position for another TD whilst he didn't put any points on the board for the Cowboys until the last second of the half - even then he was bailed out by a dropped interception right in the breadbasket and a flag having passed the ball short of the endzone.

The pattern is the offense only puts up points after the game has already been lost.

It's simply unacceptable.

Who has most control over this - the quarterback. Therein lay the route of the problems.

So, we are the NFL's version of the 76ers. Lots of regular season wins, fail in the playoffs, except they past the first round before they fail.

So it's easy, right? Just study those losses and figure out why they happened. HMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................................

Well, the NBA puts a gadzillion teams in the playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of you guys have forgotten, but Jerry actually pushed for a bigger playoff system. It was when we were going 8-8 for 3 yrs in a row. That was the only way he could figure out for us to make the playoffs.

Refs didn’t give us the win in Detroit. That’s stupid media junk. Everything else is right
Lol. Knew some would take issue with that but I think not following your own rules and the ref ignoring a direct question after the game speaks otherwise.
