Today in Miami Herald, there was an article that said that Dion Jordan is on the trade block. He has been a bust so far. His rookie year was a washout after he had a setback to shoulder surgery. His second year, he had a drug suspension. He has only 3 sacks in two years. But listen to how Mayock and others describe him. Loves football. Can bend the edge perfectly. Supremely athletic. 6'6", currently listed at 275, ran a 4.5 at combine. Maybe Miami was just a bad fit. Perhaps he could be had for a mid range draft pick. Seems like a perfect Marinelli reclamation project and a quick-twitch "rushman." THoughts?

i'd give a 4th for him...possibly a 3rd. could we afford him? He has a top 3 contract right? I know its not as bad as it used to be but still enough to dig into our cap

Would love to bring in Jordan. Would be a great rotation of Hardy, DLaw, Jordan just taking shifts getting at the QB. Could even move Hardy in with Crawford and Dlaw and Jordan on the edge.

I say these things cause I feel Marinelli can get him where he needs to be

Not sure what it would take to acquire him and I'd have to know about the number of times he's tested positive

Those are definitely the two things that would have to be considered. If the cost is low and he's not a habitual offender, it might be worth a flyer.

I wouldn't trade a top 5 round pick for him... Claiborne and a 7th sounds fair. I'd say Claiborne and a 6th but we don't have a 6th this year.

I believe he tested positive for PEDs, not drugs. Different program. For PEDs, you're suspended for four games for your first offense. If a player has been suspended for recreational drug use, prior to last season, he would have had to have failed three tests, and as of last season, four failed tests.

I'd love to add Dion Jordan if the NFL stopped testing him for steroids
