Wouldn't mind at all, and since they got good players at DE already they but him out of position at linebacker, we could really bring him in and out him at his more natural end spot.

I wouldn't give anything higher than a 7th this year...or, next year's draft? I would do a conditional deal like a 6th if he is on the game-day roster for 8 games or more, and if not, a 2016 7th

The only thing I can really say in his defense is, he's been playing out of position. His build and athleticism would lead some to believe he would be an adept OLB, but he really only does one thing well, speed rush with his hand in the dirt. He's an absolute enigma right now. I've also heard one of his biggest issues in Miami has been his weight. No matter what they've done, he hasn't been able to put on and keep weight on.

Claiborne for Dion straight up, after the draft if we take a DB, would sound about right.

He's actually better in coverage and playing run as OLB than he is rushing passer as DE with hand in the dirt. His height and measurables lead many to believe that his best fit is 4-3 DE but he is more instinctive and natural playing SAM or better yet, the OTTO.

Than he is definitely a bust, because that's what Miami tried to do with him and failed miserably. I absolutely do not want him at LB.

If we were running a 3-4 team, sure. Not in the 4-3 imo.

Wonder if Chip trades for him

What about the D-Tackle the Jags released that came from Seattle, Bryant I think his name is. Can we sign him at a vets minimum?

Dolphins version of Claiborne... a total waste of oxygen.

The similarity is eerie...................seriously.

Both players drafted in the top 10
Both players have been huge disappoints
Both teams traded a 2nd round pick to swap 1st rounders, in essence burning both a 1st and 2nd round pick on the players
Both players now considered busts by the media and their respective fan bases

Virtually mirror images of each other.

The only difference that I remember was that Mo was considered a top CB while most were surprised Jordan went that high.

Good point..............I think what tricked people into thinking Mo was a stud was the fact Patrick Peterson played opposite him at LSU.

Kinda made Mo seem better than he really was.................maybe I am wrong, I am just trying to come up with some logical reason how a guy that looked so good in college and was universally considered the best defensive player in the draft is such a scrub in the NFL.

Its mind boggling.

Yeah, I don't think that there is any question that Peterson makes the players around him better.

I think Mo never had a chance because he has been hurt early and often every single year mostly though.

I think this is his last year on the team, cant see them picking up his 5th year option.

Offenses are not as complicated and WRs run simple routes in college. Claiborne's problems are that he is a mental-midget and he is often injured. When healthy, he is good in straight up man coverage when there is only 1 WR on that side of the field. When they have multiple WRs and play games where they cross them up, he gets confused. Playing Zone is also more mental and he get confused doing that as well.

Schefter just tweeted he is suspended for the 2015 season for another substance abuse violation.

What an all timer of a bust.
