Correction: Directv customers with Sunday Ticket and HD didn't miss anything.

That's true.

I didn't miss a thing. I guess now there's another reason besides the great picture to have HD.:D

Are you sure it was an HD thing?

Are you in an area that was carrying the game on its local Fox affiliate and showing the game on 723?

I am in the Philly market. Because it was being shown on my local Fox affiliate, it was blacked out on channel 708.

When the local Fox affiliate decided to go to the Packers/Vikings game because of the blowout, there was nothing I could do.

I did call DirecTV - they said that they were flooded with calls. They were escalated. They key is to keep the pressure on so that DirecTV refuses to allow the local affiliate to buy up the rights to the local games (if possible).

Besides, I got $20 knocked of my next bill.

It was not a DTV thing - I watched the entire game on my package.

It was those watching local stations that moved coverage.

I called Direct TV to complain. They said to call the NFL. Not their problem. Had also the sympathy of talking to a Marine Boot Camp instructor. The only reason I have Direct TV is because of NFL Sunday ticket. What a suck system.

Hey BulletBob, Im from Philly too but I didnt have the channel 708 blacked out. I still say its the zone you live in. Why else would somebody within 20-30 miles of each other have two different game action.
