Disciples of TO, now is the time to denounce your God without punity...

So all the trash talking you and the other TO shills did all off season was brilliant but tonight it doesn't mean jack crap?

Does it hurt talking out of both sides of your face like that?

Ouch!

So amazing the way this board splits into polar opposites after every single game.

Why can't we just look at things objectively?

Very astute observation. It is classic us versus them mentality instead of a we mentality.

I'll say it loud so no one is unclear:

Before 10 games are done...Owens will get himself hurt to avoid embarrassing himself with such a mediocre season. The guy won't play more than 10 games this season. Mark my word.

And he will *not* whiff another big contract.
I'm not as convinced about that happening as I am that there is a higher probability that he will provide totally unnecessary commentary to the media about how he is being used in the Bills offense. Although I must admit that I won't be all that shocked if your prediction came true either.

Those Who Do Not Remember The Past Are Doomed To Repeat It

That's been Terrell Owens credo since before he became an ex-49er. One can almost set his or her clock to his interactions with the media.

Oh wait. "Don't blame Mr. Initials whenever a microphone's being thrusted into his face!!! It's the media's fault for anything and everything that comes out of his mouth!!!"

Nevermind.

I did not realize TO was still a Dallas Cowboy.

I'm no TO fan but he will get his numbers, he is a talented ball player who happens to also be a pain in the butt which is why a man of his talent is now on his 3rd team. Is he the same player he was talent wise when he was in his 20's no but he is still a very talented and yes still one of the top WR in the league.

I don't think he will match his 2007 production by any wild stretch. In fact I think he will struggle to match 2008, which was hardly spectacular. He needed a brain fart game by the 49ers to look like a #1 WR at all. He's on the downhill slide that's one of the reasons why he slid on out of town.

Hos is right: I wanted him gone, but I was rooting for him and the Bills last night because I hate the CHEATRIOTS so much.

Chances are you are right but part of that I think will be because he is not going to be the focal point in Buffalo this may be what causes his melt down but if he can keep it together I see him putting up decent numbers and think his ability in the redzone will allow him to help put up a good number of TD's in Buffalo. I'm as happy as many other are to be rid of him but I still think he has the ability to play at a fairly high level more than just avg.

Personally, I am "ragging" on his obnoxious, rude fans, not him.

I'm not rude, just overjoyed at confrontations. Need blood? If mine matches you can have some. Need someone to collect money for a cause and make sure every penny goes to that cause, I'll help. Need someone to pray for someone you love who is in dire straits? I will.

Rude people don't do any of that.

You want to know the absolute funniest thing about the TO fans? It's how two faced they are. When there were rumors everywhere that Dallas was going to release him they were posting banjo player icons and calling those of us paying attention to the rumors all kinds of things.

I loved the daily report from one poster via PMs where he told me TO was still on the team. When he was released I never sent that poster a PM. Didn't say a word. That would be rude.

They would start threads about the hysteria decrying the hysteria. Then suddenly TO was gone and we all need to "move on." Ironically the very advice many of us were giving at the word them.

Now if there is a thread where TO gets a little grief they report the threads and inform the staff that they have moved on and everyone else should too.

In other words, TO is a subject here and much like the Quincy fans of old who made all kinds of waves and then wanted dead silence when he was gone. The TO fans want the same thing.

I find that rude. They can say anything they want, but when the bad taste is in their mouths everyone else should shut the hell up.

Well, I'm not going to, and if that chaps anyone's backside I really don't care. Nothing rude about it. Just me smiling at their misery.
