Disgusted

Because we don’t want more of the same.

Because the only thing that’s important to me is the Boys winning another Super Bowl. Today doesn’t help.
The Browns have lost for years......how many SBs have they won?

If you've ever strapped it on, you would not keep like that. ALL games are important!

No one wants the players to lose on purpose. They're garbage enough to try to win and still achieve losses. Ask the Eagles fans if winning a game last year was worth it when they were picking Raegor instead of CeeDee.

There's a short window here. Being middle of the road just gets you middle of the road picks like LVE or Taco or whoever. The higher the pick the better chance we have of getting talent to help what's already on the roster. If you don't get that it's your problem. You don't get to decide who is a fan or not

I think most are not rooting for a loss. I think they see the win as meaningless. A win is a win but this team has no chance of doing anything in the playoffs. Plus the Bengals are terrible. You have to admit a top 3 pick is better than a 8-12 pick especially when they may need a QB. Ultimately fans are deeply frustrated. Very few are cheering for a loss. My opinion...
At this point I AM cheering for losses. We won’t make the playoffs and we’re screwing our drafting spot. We’re not very smart.

Maybe the NFL can print out some cool NFC East 4th place ribbons.

And the cowboys can receive those after the season is over and then we can all watch it on TV and clap and cheer.

and us fans can talk about what winners we are.

I just don't get it. Why would anyone root for a loss???? Yeah, yeah, higher draft pick, but that's not a guarantee.

I'm pretty sure that more losses = higher draft pick.

The draft chart point value difference between say the 4th pick and the 8th pick in the first round is huge- equal to a mid-second round pick. And that's just for the first round. Higher drafting position pays off in every single round.

This team is going nowhere. This season is a total disaster.

What if 1 loss today = 10 wins in the future. This is a very real possibility. If true, then rooting for a loss today IS rooting for wins.

And don't say I'm not a fan. I've seen every single game, and almost every pre-season game, since the '70's. I've attended more training camps than most have games.

I think any rational Jets fans are rooting for losses. Because they’re thinking about the future.

As far as Cowboys fans, some fans are comfortable with rooting for a loss if they think it will help the team in the future. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

It's a win and it made my Sunday. I have a lot better things to look forward to. Life is short, so I'll take the win and enjoy it.

Maybe you should do that then, instead of starting multiple threads calling out other fans who don’t feel the same way about it.

if you were just doing that. We wouldn’t be having this conversation right now.

I would like this a million times if I could, homie.

25 years have shown they shhhh the bed in the majority of drafts. We are NEVER close to any SB.

Bwahahahaha!

Will JG be invited?

I don’t view it any different than some businesses taking financial losses with initial investment, so they can profit long term.

but I suppose not everyone sees it the same way.

Same way a loving parent can "abandon" their wayward child so that that child can suffer the consequences of his/her actions, hopefully to learn from them and be restored.

It happens all the time in many households through civilization.

Lol!!!! Shut the hell up!!! We could have had TJ Watt over Taco! That's my point. Idiots that never strapped it on want draft pics!! Stick to hockey and get the frik outta my face!

Especially when your team has a history of missing on their #1 picks like Taco and Hill. Hill was a #2 becuz of the Cooper trade..

but he was our top pick coming out of the draft so he is still a first pick that year.

You can not depend on the past equalling the present..

But with this group..we do it all.

;)

Remember all this talk after
The Vikings game. And how the cowboys winning could help them gain momentum.

just for the team to get their s*** pushed in two games in a row after.

I remember.
