I dunno. I think have a rookie backfield might be an advantage. They don't know that they're supposed to be nervous and that there is added pressure. They aren't even supposed to be here.

It might be. I don't disagree. My point is many fans get upset because commentators believe that experience is better than inexperience and make picks accordingly.
I can understand if Marshall Faulk thinks quarterback experience is the determining factor. I can understand if Kurt Warner believes that a team who has gone to the Super Bowl is in a better place compared to a team that hasn't.
Those observations alone don't determine the winner. But the observation is a reasonable one, even if it is proven wrong, eventually.

It is odd how in the last couple of days, suddenly almost nobody likes us anymore.

It is, but I think its more about our path than our team. For a number 1 seed we sure as heck have to go through hell to arrive in heaven. Of course who knows, Detroit could actually be our first game and that changes things dramatically.

Cowboys/Patriots SB talk at this point is not what draws viewers. They want to stir up controversy and they do that by yapping about upsets. Cowboy hating in real and those that practice this idiocy must have their time to be heard. Talk your talk haters, stand up and be counted... cause we're knocking you down when it's all over. :flagwave:

Other than Dak, I don't think the Cowboys are being lead by rookies.
I've never thought a rookie RB was any sort of issue at all, other than if they can't pass protect.
I think you realize that the Dallas locker room is FULL of veteran leadership.

I realize that. But, unfortunately, the quarterback is the main focus come playoff time. And when you combine a rookie quarterback with a rookie running back (who is expected to shoulder much of the load), you can see why the focus is on Dak and Zeke.
I believe their experience playing on the big stage (Zeke for a National Championship and Dak in bowl games) will help. But this is the NFL playoffs, and this is both their first live rodeo. :)

We are the best all around team in the NFC. I don't think anybody can dispute that. Rodgers, Manning, Wilson and Ryan all get the nod I guess but the only team Dak struggled against was NY so unless we face NY I am not sure why anyone would bet against us. Our offense dominated most every team they played this year and I don't see any other D in the NFC stepping up in the playoffs.

I should say except the Cowboys - I do think our D is going to step up in the playoffs!

Everyone is concentrating on our two losses to the Giants and the throwaway loss to the Eagles. Let think whatever they want.
Right, but we still had those two losses last week when the team was still being proclaimed as unbeatable. And many recommended resting the starters against the Eagles (which would of course lead to a loss). Now over the last few days, suddenly almost nobody is picking us to win anything.

I don't think it's disrespect. The Cowboys are being led by rookies who have never been to the playoffs, much less one a playoff game.
And let's not act as if it's unreasonable to wonder if Dak can handle the pressure that the playoffs bring.
I'm hoping he does well. But many Cowboys fans are always looking for ways to be offended.
Maybe it's my age, but I can't get all worked up because someone didn't give the Cowboys "respect." Go out and EARN your respect, which will come with winning.
Really? The Cowboys have a better record than everybody but the Pats who had to win the last game for HFA. If the Cowboys haven't been winning, I don't know who has. And why don't the rest of them have to EARN it? Especially the Falcons and Chiefs who have won about as much as the Cowboys of late.

What is hard to understand?

The skepticism is not based on our record but on our playoff experience relative to our team and our leading rookies.

Who would pick a team with a rookie QB to go to the Super Bowl?

This is just realistic.

In the NFC, I would rank the likely teams in this order:

1. Falcons
2. Packers
3. Giants
4. Cowboys
5. Seahawks
6. Lions.

There is one way to change those odds, but I'll let that be.

The rookie has a veteran QB backup like Romo that will be inserted if he struggles in a playoff game. This is not an ordinary QB or an ordinary QB depth chart.

I would also say that since Dak has completed a full NFL season, he's not a rookie anymore. No, he doesn't have playoff experience, but there are a bunch of veteran QB's out there in that boat...and Dak will erase the playoff inexperience label in a couple of weeks, as well.
