I would also say that since Dak has completed a full NFL season, he's not a rookie anymore. No, he doesn't have playoff experience, but there are a bunch of veteran QB's out there in that boat...and Dak will erase the playoff inexperience label in a couple of weeks, as well.
Yeah, I agree. He really isn't a true rookie, experience-wise, anymore with a full regular season under his belt.

Just read the first few posts....I mean no disrespect to the OP myself, but are you new to this? Sports media have disrespected my team forever.

Who would pick a team with a rookie QB to go to the Super Bowl?

This is just realistic.

In the NFC, I would rank the likely teams in this order:

1. Falcons
2. Packers
3. Giants
4. Cowboys
5. Seahawks
6. Lions.

There is one way to change those odds, but I'll let that be.

The rookie has a veteran QB backup like Romo that will be inserted if he struggles in a playoff game. This is not an ordinary QB or an ordinary QB depth chart.

But if you wait until 21-3, it'll be too late. I doubt they'll make the change in time, if at all.

Dak is a rookie. The term applies to one in the league for the first year.
Second, Dak is the only NFC quarterback without playoff experience. Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford and Eli Manning ALL have playoff experience.
We will see if the experience or lack thereof (in Dak's case) matters.

Dak and Zeke both played in some big "playoff type" games in college. The media thought GB was going to be too much for Dak. He basically laughed it off and took care of business. Dak and Zeke will be fine in the playoffs. It's the lack of depth that will be our down-fall. As I've said many times this year, we're still 1 or 2 years away from being dominate. Not saying we can't win the SB this year, but it's going to take a lot of luck.....

I understand that, but no one really looks at any other rookies that just finished their season as rookies any more and that's all I was saying. I completely get it that he's still in his rookie year. As for the experience angle, I said in my post that he had no PO experience but that he would shed that label in a couple of weeks, as well.

It is odd how in the last couple of days, suddenly almost nobody likes us anymore.

That's during a week that ends without a Dallas game. Maybe they're going for ratings, and not being honest about their opinion?

Even if they don't give Dallas a chance, it makes the victories more enjoyable.. and more likely.

I still think rookies are seen as such until their second season. Should Dak not do as well, he'll get some grace (much like Roethlisberger did) because he is a rookie. Having said that, I acknowledge your point.

If the Cowboys ever play the NFL network, they're going to be so fired up its gonna be crazy.

Huh? Did you mean to say "If the Cowboys ever play on the NFL Network..."?
Why would the Cowboys be fired up for playing on the NFL Network? Haven't they played on the NFL Network before?

Sorry, I don't understand your statement. Maybe you can elaborate? Thanks.
