This comes from Fish. The Cowboys are 4-33 in the last 5 years trailing going into the 4th quarter.

Since they played 84 games, that would mean they are 45-2 going into the 4th quarter when they are winning. I'm not considering tied going into the 4th quarter. There may be some of them. But either way, that is a ridiculous statistic.

I think I got the math right. I'm also not counting the Eagles loss.

I think its two completely different stats that are being brought up.

Technically they can be ahead going into the 4th quarter, lose the lead and have a final game winning drive. That would count towards a Dak game winning drive, but not effect the 4-33 stat either.

How do I reconcile what? I gave you our record in the last 5 years when we were losing entering the 4th quarter. It wasn't an opinion. It's not debatable.

I don't know about Dak's 4th quarter comebacks. But do or die, last minute drives, he sucks. We almost always lose.

That's because defenses play soft coverage at that point, also the pressure is off, nothing to lose, that's literally Dak's MO

Dak plays like *** for three quarters, they are down multiple scores, defense goes into soft coverage, Dak charges back in the 4th to get the score close, fans say "if the defense could have stopped them we would have won" negating the fact that Dak did nothing WHEN IT MATTERED.

Dak plays well with a balanced offense and from a lead or a close game early but he falters when pressured earlier and gets behind, then late in the game when it's effectively out of reach he comes roaring back to make it seem close. This is borderline fact at this point in his career. He's had many statistically good games that were he played terrible the first three quarters where fans go back and point to his numbers and blame the defense. I'm sorry but I've just seen it for too many years now to even say it's just my opinion, it's basically carved in stone.

That's not the reason at all. Those who hope for losses are doing it because they're tired of all the Jerry nonsense and drama and are delighted to see him suffer after each loss. The big problem with this, though, is Jerry doesn't give a spit about wins or losses. If he did he would take all the necessary steps to get there, but that would have to include him stepping down and we all know that won't happen until the day he dies.

I'm in the apathy stage - like Jerry, I too don't care whether they win or lose. If the owner can get away with it, why shouldn't the fans be able to feel the same way?
