Looks like he has longer arms than the guy we just cut.

87-3/4" wingspan

It was a big deal that Clowney had an 83" wingspan with 34-1/4" arms.

Tyron with his 36+ inch arms has an 85" wingspan.

The longest that I can remember for an NFL player before this was Danial McCullers the massive 6-7, 350+ DT who had an 87" wingspan.

Coleman on the other hand had the 2nd shortest arms in his draft class for a DLineman (31.75").

Isnt this the guy who got in trouble for ripping a stop sign out of the ground at some student protest?

Yes. There was girl that posted here at CZ that he saw the incident and that somebody else pulled up the sign and handed it to him and he held it up in the air.

Interesting player. Will be notable if he sticks around.

He's definitely going to be a "setting the edge" type DE. Maybe some DT if he can keep his pads low, hard for a dude that size to get leverage inside.

What kinda impresses me is that he didn't play football in 2014 yet gave some pretty good workouts preceding the draft. Determination is invaluable.

A defensive lineman should be able to play immediately to some degree.

Kudos to you on liking him earlier than most.

Well, we're desperate for help on the edge against the Aints, so replace all of the stop signs around Valley Ranch with flashing red-lights and bring him on in. :)

I think he also got in trouble for domestic assault earlier, he has had issues.

Frame is not typical of 3tech DT but inside is where he is most explosive and can play against lesser athletes. Just another tall guy if coming off the edge.

Might get a few plays in sunday but most likely won't see him until the pats game. Be interesting to see what he can do.

Tap the brakes....hopefully he contributes in practice and shows something.
He was an undrafted free agent, and we signed him off a practice squad, meaning KC, who saw him all summer and in training camp, could have signed him themselves but didn't. If he actually ever sees the field this year, maybe he can at least learn to raise him arms at the right time like Hayden.

He can't be cut when Hardy/McClain come back, so we've got 2 more guys to cut after the Saints game

If that was one of the FO's criteria, they certainly hit it out of the park.
