DLaw no call

Bad officiating abounds. Not just happening to us.

Best thing to do is for coaches and players to be quiet, and JJ and SJ to go hard and angry at the league behind the scenes with other owners that are fed up as well.

Don’t make this a “Cowboys” problem. Make it a league problem and a product quality problem. Because it most certainly is.

100%

The officiating is awful across the board. Part of the problem is a lot of the homers aren’t actually fans of football in general so they don’t each other games. The boundaries of what they know and perceive is limited to the Cowboy games they watch so they naturally think it’s just the Cowboys getting “jobbed.”

And I heard last night that the Green Bay Packers first penalty was called in the 4th quarter after the two minute warning. Are you going to tell me that GB did not hold or interfere in that game? There is way too much disparity between the referee teams And the way they call the games. Or they are just lazy or illiterate and unqualified to be a ref.

I don't care about what the Bucs and Rams did in their wins.

I care about the Cowboys and their loss.

Stop looking at other teams trying to justify the Cowboys bad play.
You don't care about the Cowboys though. You care about being able to come here and be negative. I just pointed out 2 teams that had bad games and won but you wanna wallow and pout. Go ahead. Try and enjoy this week brother. Life is worth living regardless of bad outcomes lol

The only team I haven't seen get a horrible game deciding call against them is the GB packers. I can't recall a bad call that didn't benefit them in some way.

This is just me with another week of "I told ya so" stuff for everybody that hates on me for speaking the truth.

I'm over it. I want others to tell me that now. I'm sick of being right about this team and the QB.

Is anything we say on this board going to influence Jerry in any way to make any move? The first thing he needs to do is to fix the officiating.

While the idea is nice..."it's a league problem"....we have a long history of being screwed by the league. It calls for new leadership in the front office. Goodell must go...ever since he's taken over...the league has slowly turned into garbage. He's allowed social justice into the league...among other things. It's time for new leaders.

Loooool, “he’s allowed social justice into the league.”

Go start your shift at Jiffy Lube…

That was a game changing missed call. Was a fumble.

count the number of times we have been involved in fluke like situations that determine potential outcomes.

Dez great grab for TD but 1 finger out of end zone, the infamous non catch at Green Bay, the debacle over men in huddle etc.

throw in rules changes. Emmitt helmet rule.

we seem to be snakebitten re these

The problem is that the owners are the ones who keep him there. There's no salary cap for commissioners. They pay him, he's there, and the owners don't seem to care. As long as people watch the games and send them money, they're not going to fix the officiating or the commissioner. They could change commissioners today if they wanted to, but they won't.

The catch fumbles they call incomplete this year in losing games. Done that one twice.

‘Behind the scenes’ is just how the league wants to handle business. Everything hidden from public view so as not to hurt the flow of money. That’s why everyone is publicly fined if they dare to publicly criticize officiating. It’s a warning to the next guy that tries it.

No, someone needs to make it very public. That’s the only way the league does anything, when their dirty laundry is on full display.

The goal is to fix the poor officiating— not shame the league.

They have the power and the owners are going to have to work with them… so entrenching and making it a public war takes us all further away from our desired outcome.

Things should only get nasty in public if the league refuses to fix a problem AFTER a group of owners directly applies pressure to fix the issue.

Gotta move forward in good faith first. The owners have settled for their annual “competition committee “ meetings. Hasn’t fixed the problem.

Next step is a core group of owners and league leaders and some independent 3rd party officials to work together and root out the problem. I don’t have faith that this will happen mind you lol…. Just saying it what should happen lol

Youre acting as if this is something new to this season. This has been going on for years. Poor officiating has ruined numerous games this year, as well as in years past. You and I both know it directly affected the outcome of the Green Bay playoff game. But everything is hidden and things get ‘fixed’ years later if at all.

This isn’t new, and taking ‘the high road’ has accomplished nothing. Time to shine a bright light on it.

It has been happening for years for sure. 100% agree.

The owners have simply not organized and done enough to pressure the league. I just think there is a step they can take before going public.

Cooperation and consensus are desirable to effect change— if they can be established. If they can’t— then yes, more direct action is needed

Winners win.

Losers make excuses.
This take isn’t acceptable to me.

This year I’ve purchased 5 tickets, stadium food and drink, parking, a jersey, a few hats, Sunday Ticket…maybe some other things. I’ve spent $3k+ on the NFL this year. I’m sure that’s pocket change compared to some people here.

For what we spend collectively on the NFL we should expect the officiating to be professional and consistent.

All that money you spent is why Jerry and the NFL will never change.
