Well in terms of throwing yes. Just wanna see how our improved d matches up with our OL and how Romo looks behind it. That's all. Just excited for training camp when the real stuff begins.

Romo isn't going to get hit no matter if it is OTA's, Mini Camp, or Trainging Camp. He is off limits, period. So in any camp or practice that Babe has watched him in, he has never had to worry about getting hit.

He's never had a better coach... Scott Linehan

Too bad his prime years were wasted with Jason Garrett.

Well I think he meant that practicing without pads can eventually lead to more injuries later on like in training camp or the regular season (not more injuries during the actual no-pads practices) since their bodies weren't as conditioned for it earlier in the offseason.

If this is what you were referring to, then ignore this. :)

Nah, the whole thing.

Are new practice rules contributing to rash of serious injuries?

The cost of soft tissue injuries

http://musclesound.com/injuries-in-the-nfl/

Interesting but not buying into it. Training programs should take care of stretching tendons etc and building and strengthening structures supporting muscles. Contact does little to nothing for them. Improper training and perhaps diet would very likely be more contributory.

You can't provide anecdotal thoughts and two years of data to support that hypothesis. It will take a number of years assuming all variables are equal otherwise.

ACL tears etc are a product of a number of specific mechanisms of injury under the very vast majority of times not related to 'soft tissue abnormalities'.
