Barry Horn/Reporter E-mail News tips
Silly me I assumed and I was wrong.
I assumed that only two wannabes would be left for next week's final show. That's not how it is going to work. Five players - three defensive backs and two wide receivers - remain going into tonight's penultimate show. Only one gets cut leaving us a final four for the finale.
Remaining are defensive backs (In alphabetical order) Eddie Moten, Ahmaad Smith and Moses Washington as well as wide receivers Andrew Hawkins and Jesse Holley.
There is no guest star this go round and the episode is chock full of drills, including one involving tennis balls and catching a football that forced fingertip catches.
I'll just say this (and some may consider it a spoiler so you'll have to turn the page to see):
I think it will be fairly obvious to anyone who has watched the show as to who will go. During the show, host Michael Irvin has this to say after a drill. "Four of you during that drill, you had the right attitude. And then there's (name of wannabe). I saw a quitter."
You don't have to be a football Einstein to know what that means.
