If Hawkins doesn't win then this show fails.

He is far and away the best talent.

I think Holley will win it even though Hawkins is my favorite player.

No way Holley makes a 53 though.

I expect Holley to win the show and a spot on the training camp roster. Once he does that he'll beat out Stanbsck for the last WR spot if he shows he can play as a kick returner on special teams.

Holley.

Matchbox is a Canadian. He won't be on the Cowboys.

Hey DC, who of the final 4 is the best special teamer? Is it Holey? I see it coming down to Hawkins and Holleey, and special-teams ability as the deciding factor of which of these two is the winner. From the little I've seen, it looks like Holley may be the more well-rounded special teamer, but I'm interested to hear your take.

Punt Returner. Hawkins. Reminds me of a bit slower Dante Hall when he was really good. Has that lateral quickness. Plus he will work hard to make himself better.

Gunner. Holley. Bigger and faster. Probably faster than Sam Hurd and could be just as good as him if trained properly.

Kick Returner. Holley. This is more for a guy with a long stride who needs one hole.

This is why I think Holley won the spot. He has more potential as a defensive special teamer and that's where the Cowboys need help in their eyes.

I would have liked to see Hawkins in a competition as the punt returner. But you can't tell if he really has enough speed on this show.

I am going to PM you.

If Hawk fumbled again, it's just the ammo Mike needs to send him home. He would be great as a PR for us!

Theres no way Holley is better than Stanback, Hurd, Johnson, or even Ogletree. Not to mention Wilson.

All of which have been in constant football training playing against the best athletes football has to offer. Not some midget unathletic wanna be football players.

It's going to be really funny if we're all shocked and Smith wins because of some stupid drill that he's the only one that doesnt get hurt, trip, get held, or have balls thrown over his head.

Unless he fumbled all the time...

I don't get this idea that Hawkins is the best. So far, Holley has been the most consistent every week, and is the only player to not have a horrible drill, or have to puke his guts out because he's out of shape. Hawkins is quicker, but Holley is bigger, stronger, and more consistent.

I think Hawkins could be a good slot receiver, a Welker type. I'm still pissed we let Amendola escape so Hawkins could be a replacement for him. I'd at least like to see him given a go.

Hawkins has outplayed Holley almost every time, I don't know what you're watching.

Hawkins has the quicks. If he can play STs then I think he could win a spot on the 53. My opinion of him has gone up each week. He's not going to look as fast against better competition like Scandrick and Jenkins much less TNew. But he will look just as quick. Amendola has nothing on this guy. I'll be disappointed not to see him somewhere in this league at some point. Some may say he's not that fast nor quick but I'll need to see him against NFL quality DBs before changing my mind. And he will definitely be able to get off the LOS anywhere he goes.

Holley has size and enough speed. I'd like to see more of him just running routes. He has a chance to go to someone's camp as a FA, IMO.

I don't think we should rule out the DBs left. I'm not terribly impressed but then I'd have to see them a lot more than what we've seen. Smith is strong and would be good in the running game IMO. Woten seems to be a pet of Irvin's due to his 'attitude'. He apparently has some skills per Coach Joe.

I'll still be surprised should Hawkins or Holley not be the one guy.

That is interesting... If I read their website correctly, they've already played two games this year, and he has zero stats. So maybe he did win?
