First of all, the Giants should never got that first touchdown. Ware did not jump offsides, allowing the Giants to keep the ball.

Dallas also blew a lot of opportunities throughout the game. Romo overthrowing Owens, and Crayton blowing two other chances comes directly to mind.

So that was Dallas' game to lose..... and they did.

In that playoff game the Cowboys beat the Giants in every stat except penalties (which was the real story of the game) and turnovers which was only because of the prayer end zone pass thrown up at the end of the game.

The Giants played with less slop and were focused, but it was the officiating that put them in the win column.

That offsides call was whack. So was the grounding call on the last drive. And we did have drops and blown opportunities. Those things happen in *every* game.

The Giants were a lot hotter going down the stretch that season than we were, and they were only a notch below us in each of the regular season games. But we lost that game because we didn't execute and they did. I don't understand why we can't just admit that other teams in this league are really good, too.

No kidding. People act like that Giants team got blown out the next game or something... They only won the Superbowl, beating the only 16-0 team ever.

I think that Cowboys team just wasn't ready to win big yet. The Giants team they played had more veteran leadership, especially from Strahan. This team seems more seasoned, especially with guys like Brooking and even Igor and Sensabaugh who have won playoff games.
