we play them next year in denver genius. I thought you knew everything?

Guess Not.

Do we? Has the AFC West schedule already rolled around? I guess it has been a few years. Wow, time flies. I'm getting old. Now I'm sad. :(

Oh, I am not worried about Pacman. He is not starting right now anyway. But only a fool would badmouth a player that just owned him on the practice field.

What does that make him then?:laugh2: :laugh2:
He really badmouthed Brandon. Saying TO is better than Brandon. That's really going out on limb and bad mouthing poor Brandon. Give it a rest already.

I will never understand the average fan's obsession with wanting an athlete to be seen and not heard.

IMO, that perspective is only relevant to children. Talking smack, trash, ****, or whatever you want to call it is apart of most sports and probably won't change unless the Cowboys benefit from it and the NFL makes a rule against it.

10 times stronger - 10 times faster

That is badmouthing a player. Sorry if you don't understand that.

You know. if Jones was actually eligible to play in the NFL, and had some skins on the wall as a Cowboy, and actually played well against him in practice it would be one thing, but this just goes to show you what an idiot he really is. Kinda like going to a strip club the night before you are to visit with Goodell!

He pronounces it, "scrip" club.

You know it is not just the average fan. Most people are raised to not be braggerts, not be so prideful and not try to show up others when playing sports. You are taught to go out and do your best and let your play speak for itself. If you own someone, you don't have to make it known to everyone because they just saw it on the field.

A lot of todays athletes I guess feel that is just not good enough. You have to beat them and then you have to talk about how bad you beat them, to make yourself look even better!

I don't have a problem with smack talk, etc. (I prefer it on the field rather than off) but some players take it to the point of disrespect. I laughed at Pacman's taunting on special teams, but didn't care for some of the other trash.

He may be right -- and isn't Mashall suspended anyway? -- but you don't have to say it the way he said it. Ten times faster, ten times stronger, blah blah blah... Why not just say that TO is great, I go against him in practice every day, and I'm not sure anyone is as good as he is? Something like that would be fine.
Would you like us all to be more like you?

Sometimes we have a crybaby fan base, these are the same guys that come to the gym to play a pick-up game, and get laughed off the court. Boo-hoo, so he talked trash, who cares?

There are some questions that don't need asking.

He's GD Pacman Jones. He doesn't need a reason to shoot his mouth off.

Then there's those guys at the gym that talk a good game but fail to live up. They think everyone is laughing with them at their comments but are actually laughing at them because they're chumps and don't have a clue. Kinda like Jim Carey in 'Cable Guy'.

No, I'd like them to have just a little common sense and class. :p:

I knew I'd get ripped for saying something negative about Teh Pac, but so what.

I'm just glad to know no one will complain when Crayton runs his mouth all year.

I happen to agree with you. I've discussed this with other Titans fans and this trash-talking thing was a beginning sign of trouble when he was playing for them. Don't like it at all.

:hammer:

People make too much of trash talking, though I agree it should be left on the field and not done in the media.

Probably the 2 biggest trash talkers in the history of the NBA were Jordan and Bird.
