Guess something's wrong with me, then.

Stay far away from this freakshow.

I coulda told ya that. ;) However, I'm in that bucket too.

Just another self-centered rich jock who still has the same two digit IQ he went into college with. If he loves his teammates so much, why doesn't he shut his damn mouth and help out his team? The real truth is that his childish behavior has alienated his teammates and he burned his bridges with the players and some of the coaches as well.

He ought to try Tampa Bay, they just signed Antonio Bryant; maybe he's the kind of player they want.

Zaxor agrees with this post :p:

Change, a change of scenery. I need a fresh start, a breath of fresh air. I need it. I need it. Regardless of what people think, I'm tired of hearing what people think about me, I'm tired of making everybody try to like Chad. I've got to do what's right for Chad now.

Yeah, because if anyone doesn't like all the antics, soundbites, etc. (none of which have ever been necessary and have had zero impact on the outcome of any professional football game), it's everyone else's problem.

I'm gonna speak my mind, especially now. Because I'm at a point where I can't be worried about what other people say. I gotta be worried about Chad, period.
Translation: "I'm getting paid millions by The Man, but The Man wants me to act like A Man so I'm gonna throw a temper tantrum in front of the cameras like I'm a child in the toy section at Wal-Mart. So, there!"

Y'all don't hear me.

I'm so serious. If I don't stand up for Chad right now, I'm through. I'm done. Where's the camera? What camera we on? Man, look at my eyes. I'm not playing.

Dear Master Chad -

You're the problem, Fool. You can't run from yourself because you take the problem with you. You're the one who has to change, not the world, Fool. All you are doing is showing the world how foolish you are.

I could live with it. He is one heck of a player when he's getting the ball. Though my wish is for Boldin to be wearing the star come the new season. After that Roy Williams. THEN Chad Johnson.

At least all of his baggage comes with a smile and a laugh.

Pacman comes with shackles and handcuffs.

If given the choice, I'll take Johnson.

TO and Johnson compliment.

TO and Boldin are the exact same type receiver.

CHad Johnson needs to stop the drama and watery eyes, because nobody should sympathize with him. The guy is an *** who took a swing at his coach...

T.O. is not even in his league, nor is Pac-man. At least Pac-man keeps his activities away from the football field, while TO never took physical swings at coaches.

Also, McNabb was one of the reasons TO acted the way he did, as well as the contract. Chad Johnson gets the ball and plenty of glory. And Palmer throws him the ball and doesn't complain. His contract is nothing to cry about as well.

I doubt Chad actually swung on Marvin and is still w/ the team. Both he and Lewis dispute it so I'll take them at their word instead of that of a former player who was released. I don't understand why people are so negative when it comes to 85. Yes, he's flamboyant and likes to flap his gums, but he backs it up every Sunday between the lines! He's never had any legal troubles or issues off the field and I've never heard a teammate drop any disparaging remarks about him. After watching him last night on NFLN, I just think he's frustrated w/ the Bengals organization and honestly needs to GET AWAY! I would have no problem w/ him being a Cowboy, personally, and what a tandem he and T.O. would make!

"Y'all don't hear me," he said, frantically looking for a camera. "I'm so serious. If I don't stand up for Chad right now, I'm through. I'm done. Where's the camera? What camera we on? Man, look at my eyes. I'm not playing."

Then, he offered this: "Sometimes they say the grass ain't greener on the other side. I'll tell you what, if I leave, I got my water."
Non-comprehension of the message...

To quote the announcement in Buckaroo Banzai: "Lithium is no longer available on credit."

I'd take him. Most all the reasons people are saying they wouldnt take him are the same reasons they didnt want TO. I think that turned out just fine.

He cracks me up, but he's not the vet WR we need or that I want. He'd fill the bill, but he's past the age where I'd roll the dice.

I'm with you on this one Hos. A younger vet WR is what I'd want. One who can step into the #1 slot when T.O. starts to lose a step (whenever that is).

Amen

I watched that on TA tonight. He is a lunatic. He is not worth the trouble either. He was asking the camera to zoom in on him and said he was going to cry.

He said he loved his teammates but he had to go.

We already have a guy with this attitude, I hope we never have another.

You haven't a clue of what you are talking about. You are trying to say TO has the same tude as Chad? You are crazy. TO has done nothing but his damn job while in Dallas.

I hate how people jump on Owens and ***** and complain about that guy and all he is doing is exactly what we pay him to do.

Drive by posters......sheesh

I have no man crush on Johnson, but you could tell in that whole interview last night that Johnson is at his whit's end. He kept telling Dukes and Woodson, "I'm serious, you're not feelin' me". I believe him. The dude looked as serious as a guy can look. The whole thing was awkward to say the least.

One thing is for sure, Chad wants out of Cincy. I'm not sure they can afford to keep a guy that's that close to the edge of just saying "Forget it, I'm through". He seems like he's at that point. If Cincy were to entertain the idea of trading him I wouldn't be opposed to looking into what it would take to get him. Say what you want about the guy's flamboyance, but the guy can straight play. To top it off, he and TO are already buddies. I think the situation here in Dallas is exactly what Johnson is looking for. A team with a legitimate shot at a Championship. Chad's not tired of not making enough money. He's tired of watching his team slowly get worse with every passing year.
