I like Talib. If i'm not mistaken he is the bigger corner. +1 in my book. Makes match ups with big WR easier for us. Can someone correct me if im wrong about the size difference.

Talib reminds me of brash A Henry

and no way he's moving to safety, so everyone can stop saying that

I've said Talib reminds me of Henry as well, for better or worse.

I also agree that people don't give him as much credit as they should.

I have no idea why people see FS in him, he's a big corner w/ good speed and excellent playmaking skills

I guess they still can't get over the fact that's he's not as slow as they once thought

Because Jordy Nelson beat him on one play and it's on Youtube?

lol, that too

the reason he reminds me of Henry is because both don't have great feet, and are susceptible to biting on double moves, plus the obvious similarities, size and playmaking ability

He is young though. Seems like that problem can be fixed with solid coaching early in is career. yes no?

At the combine Talib measured in at 6' 3/4" 202 and Cason 6' 1/4" 191 so Talib is 1/2" taller and 11 pounds heavier. IMO Cason is actually more physical and definitely better in run support.

Oh no way. Cason plays very tight man coverage. It's what he excels at.

He has dropped from the projected first or second CB to be taken in the draft, what is the knock against him?

Good to hear, especially about Cason...But do these predraft workouts amount to much?...Aren't the 'boys tipping their hands this way prior to the draft or is this a smokescreen?...I don't recall previous seasons and visits & draft and how that played out.

Can anyone comment?

Who knows, they have brought in players before and then drafted them. Bobby Carpenter, Anthony Fasano, and Stanback come to mind. They have also done the opposite ie, I don't believe they brought in Ware but they did bring in Merriman, and I don't think they had Spencer in last year. And remember non-local invites are not here to work out only to interview. Only the local area players are allowed to work out.

We sent a team of coaches to work out Spencer last year at his Pro Day.

Good move. If you can get a free look... why not?

They can at least confirm or deny what they currently think of him.

Don't know the CBs well at all. Who are the top five we would not only want but have a legit chance to get at 22/28?

I'm sure everyones list would look a bit different, but in no particular order the consensus top 5 are:

Antoine Cason
Dominique Rodgers Cromartie
Mike Jenkins
Leodis McKelvin
Aqib Talib

Pretty much the same names, I'd just move DRC to #1 and Talib to #2.
