DMN Blog: Cowboys Not Likely to Cut Williams, Interest in Sharper?

Whether or not the money goes directly into TO's pockets makes no difference.

TO still counted 9.5 mil against the cap.

It just matters to people who still can't get TO out of their system.

pretty sure it made a difference to the people who would have to pay that money hence we cut his washed up *** and saved it. Even though it counted against the cap it cost us nothing

But it would cost the Cowboys the same amount to cut him? Correct?

why would you cut him if you had to pay the guy one way or the other.

if roy gets cut he still get paid 9.5 million by jerry. why cut him if you still have to pay him 9.5 million.

in TO's case, TO got cut and Jerry didnt have to pay him but he still counted against the cap.

its very very simple.

If we get D Sharp a lot of(good) things will happen for us:

1. We get that ball hawking guy that creates turnovers in the secondary along with Jenkins

2. We solve the issue at Safety for at least 1 or 2 years, enough to address it later in 2011-12 or to groom a guy we take in the 2nd/3rd next this year.

I really hope this happens.

and it's not a matter of " if ", its a matter of " when ".

Doesn't make any sense at all to cut him. None.

Whether we like it or not, there is no way Jerry Jones is going to cut Roy Williams this year. It just won't happen...at least not this year, next year...who knows.

The talk to cut RW is ridiculous nonsense. He start at the number two and ne benches if it goes badly. At worse he is depth.
