Maybe not 1st round but if you could snag a quality WR who can PR/KR in the 2nd or third, I wouldn't mind seeing it happen.

Jordan Shipley.

I'd prefer we bring back Folk for our kicking situation. BBF.

Most definitely draft Oline or safety with our first pick. We do have Free, and possibly Brewster can provide some depth next year.

We need more athleticism on the offensive line that's for sure though.

**** jerry.

He could be bluffing. If you believe Peter King, Jerry explicitly denied any interest in RW11 right before the trade went down, and he gave every indication at last year's scouting combine that TO would be back. Stay tuned.

I don't think this is predraft posturing, it's Jerry being honest. And I agree with him. Taking a WR before other more important needs are addressed makes zero sense to me.

We have other needs that should be put on the burner before even thinking WR, oline mostly.

Morgan Burnett in the 2nd round = championship!

:laugh2:

I'll take Iupati and then Morgan in the 2nd.

That alone would make my draft. We could draft 4 kickers after that for all I care.

This could be a smoke screen too. I mean who shows their cards about the draft this early. Jerry might turn around and grab a WR is there is one sitting on the board at 27. I would not put it past him to do so.

we need to draft a kick returner more than we need to draft a kicker.

Give me Kam Chancellor all day over Morgan Burnett. Was anything but thrilled by GT's defense. Especially their secondary.

Morgan was a bright spot. I'd rather pass on another overrated VT db like Kam.

If Mardy Gilyard falls into the second round, I'm sure they would consider it, he is a great ST guy. Also if Denver gives away Marshall, I bet Jerry would consider that too.

I must say I didnt see any of their games besides the Orange Bowl, and their Miami game. He didnt do jack in the Orange Bowl.

I like Kam's size, but we dont exactly need that back in our secondary. Honestly the more I think about it, he's not a good fit here. I just like him because he's a baller...everytime I watched him this past year he was blowing someone up or making a play.

The more I'm reading on Chad Jones from LSU, the more I'm becoming a fan of his.

Jerruh all but said it. And would good reason. we have our #1 in Miles. Jeruh wants Roy to have another shot so that takes care of #2. Crayton is a very good #3. Hurd is a solid backup. Ogletree showed a lot of promise. And the other guys will get a good look in camp. We all know Jerruh is very averse to using high picks on WRs. Right now he thinks we are fine at WR and outside of taking a shot at someone in the late rds I do not see us going after any.

And above all else Jerruh knows it takes time for just about every WR to produce and he wants to be at home in the SB NEXT YEAR.

Hurd will be gone it will be cheaper to move Olgtree into his spot and Manny, Holley and any other wr into that 5th slot. It still comes down to money in the end and it makes no sense to pay Hurd money when Olgtree is cheaper at this point
